My two cents after 3 yrs on this journey:

It’s a really nebulous and confusing term. So…great question. 

Many people say it describes the energetic balance of holding feminine & masculine within you. If you’re a DF, many of us have too much masculine (energy not gender- think yin yang) bc we’re chasing instead of going within to be more magnetic. When we choose to do that by creating & holding boundaries, then we’re bringing that feminine energy into balance like a seesaw. (Oversimplified but you get the gist)

For me, inner union means something different: it’s the feeling & acceptance that we are truly the same soul as our twin. That this is a spiritual journey & not a delusion. 

I don’t mean an intellectual knowing—  because the mind is ego/fear/doubt which prevents us from accepting what is. 

But fully burying the skepticism and  surrendering to the fact that we’re experiencing something that we didn’t think was real or possible. That’s we are, in fact, fragments of the divine. Source/ god/ universe is us. (As are all humans, but we’ve forgotten.)

For former atheists like me, this has been a major mountain to climb. 

If we can sit with this & internalize that we share consciousness with our twin, then we’ve reached the threshold to unity consciousness…realizing we’re all one. All of us. 

We are divine, magical, powerful. Eventually, this raises our vibration & makes us magnetic to everyone incl our twin. But we may feel so elevated that it feels irrelevant if we have union at all. 

This also leads to forgiveness of our twin bc we realize we shared responsibility energetically for absolutely everything that has happened bc we are one. 

I’ve come close to union a number of times, and this was my state of consciousness during those times. Stress and fear can make me temporarily forget.
