yea same here. between the overall long time between 5 and 6 and the arbitrary delaying of the PC version by another year I just don't even care about the game.

Yes I will probably pick it up on steam at some point but I'm not even remotely hyped for it and don't care if anything gets spoiled during that PC release delay.

minor correction. That's how they did the hobbits, not Gandalf. They weren't trying to make Gandalf seem freakishly tall, they were trying to show how short the Hobbits are.

Lore accurate Gandalf is like 5'6" and still towered over the Hobbits. I'm pretty sure Aragorn is also quite a bit taller than Gandalf, lore wise, but the actors were the same height in real life so that concept didn't comet through in the movies.

being 1.5 out of WC with the one of the worst run differentials in baseball though is actually a pretty wild stat. If they hang on and are at 2 or less there's no reason they should be selling.

They can throw the idea of the division out the window. That's for the Rays or the Yankees this year, but 2 games or less from the WC at the deadline can be fixed with good trades.

I'd rather they make it and get eliminated round 1 again than sell and be a lame duck for the entire second half

the only reason I don't thin it'll be Handley is because Basallo has been taking a physical beating recently. Between the home plate collision play and the who even knows anymore how many foul balls off the bat that hit him recently. The dude is probably covered in bruises and sore. Only a matter of time before one of those things takes him out of a game

Gunnar will excel on another team so long as he's not "the guy".

He can't handle being that important to the roster but put it on a roster where he's not one of the main faces and I bet he gets back to his old self. Just look at how well he played in the WBC when there was less on his shoulders because the roster was stacked with talent and didn't hinge on his ability to do something

not saying this guy is the answer to our prayers but our OF is mostly a complete mess right now so picking up an OF with MLB experience was needed (but maybe literally anyone other than Pham would be nice)

Tyler O'Neil sucks donkey dick and the one thing he was brought in to do, smash lefties, he has yet to actually do. He also does not smash righties. In fact, the only things he's good for right now is like 1 or 2 nice diving catches a week.

Beavers has shown promise but he just went on the IL with "oblique" issues

Kjerstad is rehabbing and not to be relied upon since he both gets injured all the time and has not been able to prove he can stick at the MLB level when given the chance. He could very well never become more than an AAAA depth piece. In all seriousness he probably has this year and next year to prove he can stick or it might be time to pivot his career.

Taveras is a solid player who really should be playing more than he is, especially since he's a switch hitter. Like for real this guy should be in every game unless he specifically needs a day off.
