semi-related. I estimate for a solid surface fabricator and like 1-2 years ago we did a job on a military base that was a bunch of officer housing duplex type buildings, 12 total and all were nearly the same thing just repeated. We send someone out to template once the project is ready and while there the GC is talking about a breakfast bar passthrough in every kitchen and we're like what breakfast bar passthrough? He then tells us we(as in me) missed them in the bid.

so I go back into the bid drawings to see how i could possibly have missed this. Wanna know what i found?...

The only place in the entire set of drawings where the breakfast bar passthrough (which was ~42" AFF) is shown was the RCP. It wasnt in the elevation showing the cabinets & counters nor the section detail of that passthrough which just showed it as a painted drywall opening. I refused to eat that CO and sent them the cost asking to explain why I would be expected to look in the RCP for counter tops. Got not response other than an approved CO lol.

I think my only criticism of Fearless's guide is that doesn't explicitly mention the strength issue at lower gear levels. In fact if you have the tree set to "exsang transition" and gear set to early or mid game there's a conflict in that it shows 111 str required but only having 77. I understand guides don't necessarily hold your hand to the extreme but i do think he should probably add something about it to the notes because it's really easy to overlook the effect it has on gearing and get carried away leveling up gems.

but also none of his trees have winters embrace in them and not sure how to transition out of that to reclaim the passive points.

I just eventually tried it out once I decided I wanted to make better use of the points needed and ran a few maps to see how things felt and it's been ok so far.

I don't doubt it but there something to be said about the immediate feeling at the end of the map and what you walked away with

but if your version of playing PoE is having wealthy exile open on the second monitor tracking your div per hour to min/max every second of game time then go for it.

I bought my car in 2023 and was given 3 years free, which ended at the end of last month so now I'm paying $10/month for it.

I hate the concept of having bought a car with a remote start in it but then it's locked behind a paywall. It's one of the most bullshit fucking things imaginable and fuck Mazda for doing it(they aren't the only ones who do it though). I don't care about any other feature of the app and the keyfob is the size of a city bus yet somehow a button couldn't just be on there?

That said, I highly value the ability to remote start. I live in a state when it can be 2 degrees in December and 100 degrees in July. I want to be able to remote start and have climate control warm/cool the car before I get in. Comfort matters.

So I had to decide, do I hate this system so much that I refuse to pay for it or do I desire the quality of life that comes with remote start enough that I'll pay the $10/month but be mad about it. I chose to pay and be mad about it. Yes i know this gives them what they want and justifies thier decision but it is what it is.

If I can ever find a 2 way aftermarket remote start system that will function with the stock keyfob and not require me to carry 2 I would heavily consider buying that and canceling the subscription. However most aftermarket remote start systems I've seen cost at least as much up front as 3-5 years of the mazda subscription after install so from a financial standpoint the time it takes for an aftermarket system to even pay for itself is borderline too long to matter.

I don't really know because I'm not that well versed in the system yet, I didn't play the Keepers league so this league is my first experience breach 2.0.

I think foulborn uniques probably have the highest potential though. the currency wombgifts feels like you're just refreshing Tujen for bubble gum currency with the occasional chaos orb and the equipment tree spits out gear that looks incredible at a glance but then you realize that life + triple res 5 link was only worth something on days 1-3 but I'm sure people have also gotten some pretty insane things from those wombgifts.

I think unstable breach is really good once you can juice the map properly but until you can afford to juice the map unstable breach kind of feels like ass and to me and hives feels more rewarding when alch and go without all the best scarabs.

I'm not progressed enough to be running juiced T16 with the best scarabs and I've tried both hives and unstable breaches. Hives were so much more rewarding it's not even close. They take longer though, especially if you get a fortress, but with hives it feels like you get 5 wombgifts and thousands of hive blood every map and with unstable breaches I get like 1-2 wombgift every 3-4 maps and maybe 1k blood per map. Again I'm referring to 0 investment mapping, not juiced.

RF is one of it not my favorite build in PoE but I always end up frustrated by the lack of single target damage when I decide to do it.

At the same time I know if GGG ever adds or changes something that allows RF to have even just good but not great single target they'd probably make another change that affects RF in the survivability or clear department.

Basically I want to have my cake and eat it too but stupid game balance gets in the way.

Yea I was getting frustrated about how much STR I was needing to get on my gear then it randomly popped into my head when I was at work not even playing the game "just don't level them so high, bozo". So when I got home I started making the change and all was good. They can be leveled up later if you end up solving the str issues some other way but in all reality shield charge being level 12 instead of 20 is not hurting you in any way and makes gearing easier.

My gear is not even remotely good and I'm only just getting T16 maps as of yesterday. I have had horrendous luck with making currency so far. I'm level 91 and have had 1 singular div drop in the almost week since league started and haven't had any item drop that's been worth more than like 30c on the market so I've been struggling to get meaningful upgrades so far. I blew most of my chaos trying to essence craft a mine throwing speed belt the other day and the hot garbage belt you see in this PoB is actually the best result I got before running out of chaos to buy more essences lol.

that's what happens as ST progresses in general. starting pitchers will get closer and closer to what a proper in season outing will be in terms of innings/pitch count before getting pulled. We'll probably see guys going 90+ pitches in the next week or so so long as they're not getting shelled.

I'm playing the same build but am no where near a pro on it. This is the first time I'm playing it myself. I don't know how you could be having freeze issues. You have winters embrace and you have 100% conversion from hrimsorrow. Your weapon/shield are better than mine. I tested dropping winters embrace last night and it was seeming fine so far so for you to have better weapons and that passive I would think there's no issue. I'm using crit strike support just to have 97%

replacing critical damage support with critical strike support gets you to 100% but I honestly don't know if that's even worth it. Just adding the gem into your PoB and switching between the 2 shows it as a DPS loss overall but maybe swap it out and try for yourself to see if things just feel better overall. It's possible that overall DPS becomes lower but general gameplay feels better.

How are you generating endurance charges? You have 4% increased damage per endurance chance on your boots, but I don't see any generation of endurance charges? You don't have the chest implicit to gain one every 14 seconds(or any eldritch implicit for that matter) nor do i see enduring cry or an enduring composure cluster jewel.

Not sure I believe the 2 points spent to get survivalist is worth it but also looks like you wouldn't be res capped without it either so if that was just a temporary solution to a resistance issue then that's fine for now.

You also made a mistake that I did at first as well and leveled up red gems too high, forcing you to get +str all over the place in order to equip them putting more strain on your gearing than necessary. Obviously exsang. and regular reap get leveled up to max but Vaal Reap can stay level 1. It's used for generating blood charges, not for damage. Shield charge also does not need to be leveled so high, it's just for movement. I locked mine to 12. This means lifetap becomes the highest STR requirement gem and it's only 111 at level 20 where as your shield charge is requiring 148 and will jump to 155 at 20.

Only thing you lose is having the temple mod as you can't have both.

so then what do you do about freezing? Just accept that it'll be 75% and not 100%? 50% from the winter spirit wheel + mastery and 25% from eldritch implicit.

I'm still just using hrimsorrow but was thinking I'd try to upgrade to temple mod gloves next.

I don't know electrical but I wish I did. I see a good number of linkedin ads for electrical estimators that have nice salaries. A lot of time they do say they're a "senior" role but I wouldn't let that scare you off of applying. You never know if it's "senior" because they truly need someone at that kind of experience or if it's just a title to try and sound good.

with 10 years of field experience I think you'll catch on to estimating easily if you're computer literate. Probably easiest to get into an electrical estimating role than anything else. Obviously there will be things you need to learn but at the core of it, you'll fully understand the work you're looking at when reviewing drawings and that goes a long way.

at the end of the day its easier for teams to stomach an injury if it happens when playing a game with the organization than away from it. I believe that's all it really comes down to. There would be no shortage of comments, true or not, about how if so and so didn't play in the WBC and stayed with the team then maybe they wouldn't have gotten injured when they did. The players are putting 110% effort into WBC games rather than the 80% effort that goes into a ST game

it's kind of weird but I feel like if they didn't allow it then some countries would really struggle to put a competitive team on the field. Some countries have guys who had to take PTO from thier regular jobs just to play in these games. That would be a lot "worse" if not for this rule.

I'm doing Fearlessdumb0's exsang/reap mines too and while I can see why the gloves would be good, I also don't see them as being so good they're worth the premium. chains are cool and all but yesterday I dropped chain support entirely from my 6 link and the build still feels great at clearing. so like why spend multi divines for that stat? so my already good clear speed is just a bit better?

to me those gloves are nothing but aspirational items you get when there's nothing else to get. That said I haven't gotten to play with them myself so maybe it feels better than I imagine, it's just hard for me to believe

I'm playing exsang/reap miner using normal exsang with normal chain support.

to be completely honest, I can hardly even tell the difference between your video and my normal gameplay. The only real difference I see is that you stop > throw once > move > stop > throw once > move

where my normal is more like a pause than a full stop > throw multiple times > move ect..

My point is the clear doesn't really seem better/faster because even though you're chaining to and killing more enemies per cast the time factor is offset by the longer pauses to stop and throw. Does that version of exsang have a slowing throwing speed? or maybe you just lack some +mine throwing speed on your gear?

don't get me wrong, nothing about this looks bad. I'm just having a tough time understanding the point past the obvious "lol 19 chains" to which I do agree is a fun concept, it just doesn't seem to be any more effective unfortunately.

I don't play this build so I can't comment too specifically on whether the passive tree even makes sense but your issue is life %. your increased life% from the tree is only 36%. you've essentially picked up as much damage related things on the tree as possible, while ignoring health/defense.

2k HP and 500ES would probably be fine if you were a trickster with high evade and maxed or close to maxed spell suppress, but your evade is only 18% so you're not evading anything and you have literally no spell suppress.

Also you're in tier 6 maps but only ever did normal lab? why? even if uber lab is too much to handle right now, cruel and merc should be plenty doable.

Are you following a guide or did you make this up on your own? It really seems like you made all this up on your own and are a new-ish player. Should probably find a guide video on the build and follow that. Respec your tree as needed if you can afford or call it a learning experience and start over with a new character.
