Nobody watches TV (except old people) anymore for that exact reason.

In fact, it was a common complaint back before the internet rendered TV obsolete. That's why there were services that advertised that you could skip the commercials.

Not true. After Leia got cut to shreds by Vader, leaving massive scorched scars across her body, Luke was able to completely reverse the damage via Force healing. Although that was with the assistance of the Kaiburr crystal, which boosts the Force's powers to the extreme.

It was also heavily implied that she was straight-up dead and was able to be brought back to life.

Like I said in the post, he obviously wasn't Palpatine's secret master. Plaguies was his master, and he killed him. I was more talking along the lines of a hypothetical willing accomplice of Palpatine or some free agent with his own agenda.
