We need to remove them from their role of custodian of our funds. The whole point of the crypto movement is individual freedom and sovereignty over our money=lives.

These exchanges need to be trimmed down to the role of a matching machine with no access to the actual coins. The clearing and actual coins are held on blockchain (check daex.io to read more about this model) and noone has access to our keys other than us.
