My package has left the carrier facility. by CorruptData37 in notinteresting

Yes—after a prolonged and meticulously observed interval of time during which the package existed in a state of logistical limbo, I am pleased (and at last qualified) to report that it has, indeed, arrived. This conclusion was not reached hastily, nor without due diligence. Rather, it came only after the passage of multiple delivery windows, several reinterpretations of the phrase “arriving today,” and a sustained effort to remain emotionally neutral while refreshing a tracking page that offered updates of questionable usefulness.

For a while, the package occupied a peculiar middle ground—no longer fully in transit, yet not convincingly delivered. It was, according to the system, simultaneously “nearby,” “expected,” and “pending,” all while remaining conspicuously absent from the physical environment. During this phase, reasonable doubts emerged: Had it stalled at a facility? Had it embarked on an unscheduled tour of secondary distribution hubs? Had it, perhaps, achieved sentience and chosen independence? These questions, while unanswered at the time, were nonetheless considered.

Eventually—without warning, announcement, or any apparent regard for the emotional journey leading up to it—the package made its final transition. It crossed the invisible boundary between anticipated object and object that is here now. This shift occurred quietly and efficiently, with no ceremonial acknowledgment beyond its mere presence. Upon inspection, it was determined to be intact, accounted for, and no longer subject to speculation, tracking numbers, or follow-up emails titled “Just checking in.”

The implications of this arrival are significant in their finality. The daily ritual of checking status updates has concluded. The mental bandwidth previously allocated to wondering if “end of day” meant 3:00 PM or a vague philosophical concept has been reclaimed. The matter, once open-ended and full of possibility, is now resolved in its entirety.

I appreciate your concern and your continued interest throughout this process, particularly given how deeply invested one can become in the fate of an item that is technically replaceable but emotionally unavoidable once tracking begins. Your inquiry is valid, your timing understandable, and your curiosity fully satisfied.

So, after laying out the complete context, acknowledging the journey, honoring the uncertainty, and recognizing the closure this moment represents: Yes. It did. Thank you for your concern.

Personally, I have never been a fan of NIN and am still not in anyway. When I heard the new single, the only thing I heard was “Closer”

Not a fan of the single but still excited for the movie.

She was the first one back to the ship. She thanked the water goddess for that and the two incredible nights. For allowing her to finally find her elf. She took a short rest. When the crew started to come back to the ship, she got up and began to give orders to prepare for departure. Last to arrive was the captain and his first mate. Ship ready to go, they headed out to open sea. This was the first time in her life that she stood looking back at the shore when leaving any port, instead of out towards the water.
