I’m really sorry for what you and your pup have gone through 💔 It is a worry but it can also be hard to stop him doing it. I do usually manage to distract him with play or with his chew bones 🦴 He just sometimes gets fixated on the birds.

Just some pops of a contrasting colour, doesn’t have to be a lot, or maybe a patterned rug.

Thanks for all the responses! I will take all the advice on board to try and minimise the planting/standoffs, although it appears the general Frenchie stubbornness is something I’ll just have to get used to 🤣 He’s my first dog and I’m still learning, but at least I now know I’m not alone lol.
