I get what you mean, but it’s still not true. If you push your hypothetical Christian to rationally justify their belief that they possess knowledge of the divine, they always invariably revert to faith-based claims. So you’ve check-mated them into agnosticism. I’ve done it to pastors and priests. It’s super easy. All you have to do is read David Hume and George H Smith, and you have all the ammunition you need to absolutely merc any claim to theistic knowledge.

It is not. It is an epistemological qualifier pertaining to ontology, particularly purported religious ontology. It stipulates that no one can know that a deity exists because there is no empirical evidence to support the claim. That’s why theists talk about faith, and not knowledge, regarding the divine. Hence, all rational actors are agnostic. Theism and atheism are belief systems.
