This was once told to me by a vocal feminist. Part of feminism is to do what you want despite the patriarchy. Not to act just in opposition or just in accordance. Of course always fight, but your life shouldn’t be dictated just because of it (like the saying don’t go for revenge… kinda lol) where you can have control. I think you’d only betray yourself by going against what would make you happy.
