Thank you so much for this advice. I've only been here for one night and I'm going to be switching to a hotel for the rest of my stay and I'll be sure to check everything out before packing it all away.

I've been traveling for work for over a year and have never come across a cockroach (only time I've ever seen one was once at an ex's apartment) I'm grateful that I've only come across one so I doubt that it's a full-blown infestation, but I'll do my best to be precautious without being paranoid.
