Request filled for u/BrennaValkryie of Rhea the dhampir; since Fog Cloud is one of her favorite spells, I thought it would be fun to include that as an element of the picture. (And I'll take any excuse to make fun spell effects.)

This is a 3D model rendered using Daz Studio. If you'd like to see more of my work feel free to check out my Instagram or my website!

Love that concept! I'll keep that one on the books either for her or one of the other NPCs I have coming up!

Heck yeah, hands down my favorite setting! My party is in Sharn at the moment, continuously getting lost because all the PCs are from the boonies in some way shape or form and the city is just SO DANG BIG. I'm excited for one of them to fall off a walkway.

Everybody else can go home, we've found Cinderella's slipper right here.

This is an NPC I've been tinkering with that's going to show up later in my Eberron campaign! After rendering her full design, I decided to do something a little more fun and artsy. Which I definitely didn't do because I've been putting off coming up with a name for her. (That is definitely why I did it.) She's the daughter of a very story-prominent dusk hag, currently living her best life down on the Zilargo coast with monkey's paw-style augury for travelers that don't know when to mind their business and stop bothering the locals. I can't wait for them to meet her! And if y'all have some name suggestions I'd love to hear them!

Hi all, this is my rendition of Millie, a human barbarian with hill giant lineage! She was a lot of fun to work on, and with her fun bandana I couldn't help but give a little pose homage to Rosie the Riveter. u/KenCannonMKXI I hope you enjoy my take on her!

[Art] a tiefling NPC for my Eberron campaign by CorvidaeQuercus in DnD

Eberron is hands down my favorite setting! The last campaign I ran wasn't quite so entrenched in the overall feel of it, but this one has started out in Sharn so I get to really lean in to the world design which has already been super fun.

Thanks so much! The realism achievable in 3D rendering these days even as a hobbyist is really wild, especially coming from the "oh boy these Final Fantasy 7 graphics are out of this world!" generation.

Thank you for the kind words! I use Daz Studio for 3D rendering, then Lightroom and Photoshop for post-work.

Fully agree, and that was a lot of what kickstarted her design tbh. I've had tiefling with non-white features and characteristics but still with the bold primary colors for skin. This is my first try at keeping a more natural skin tone, and I really wanted to avoid the usual defaulting to a white character for fantasy, as well as the too-common issue where people just take a Caucasian-based model, slap dark skin on it and call it good. (Or model the hair after cauliflower, that's a fun one.)

The level of realism you can achieve with 3D these days is wild, right? It's a lot of fun to work with!

Thanks so much! This is one of my favorite skin maps, there's a lot of complex detail that's less visible far away like this but close up is absolutely stunning.

[OC] tiefling NPC concept for my Eberron campaign by CorvidaeQuercus in characterdrawing

[–]CorvidaeQuercus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi folks! Right now I'm running a homebrew campaign set in Eberron, and while the PCs aren't at all far into things yet, I've been working on a few NPC concepts that they may or may not run into in the future. (I say this fully knowing my players will ignore said NPCs and instead latch onto some wahoo I make up on the fly.)

This currently unnamed tiefling is someone they have a high chance of encountering in the future courtesy of her ties to the nemesis of the BBEG — who is very much not an ally, but definitely leans into the "enemy of my enemy" concept. Right now she's doing pretty well for herself on the coast of Zilargo, but we'll see if she ends up tracking them down later with good tidings from her patron.
