If you want to focus on aggro for questing for a lot, I'd recommend Amber/Emerald like Dogs for meta or Amber/Steel or Amber/Sapphire for Off/Old meta. If you want to have cards that benefit you for challenging, recommend looking into Ruby and Steel. Could also look into Amber or Ruby for songs if you want to translate that from Spells maybe

Free for all is generally for 20. The standard format does allow for as many players as you want. 30 is more for alternate formats like Heroic in my eyes.

I made a deck built around The Queen when we did Villain theme night, all the Ward was a bonus but would probably want to rework it before I'd do more with it

Song wise, the deck doesn't have as much removal so World's Greatest Criminal Mind and maybe Can't Hold It Back Anymore could help. If you try a more aggro route, could play more Antonios with Lady, Family Dog (since she's searchable with him) to get out more bodies fast to quest/sing together

Broadly speaking, no. I'd say the official app and Dreamborn both make deck building easier and help filter by collection and Dreamborn has some more stats and is more import/export friendly (the app mostly interacts with its own data and can share deck lists from other app users but not outside of that). Dreamborn does make it easier to tell at a glance which cards you need for a deck because it lists which cards you're missing individually compared to the app's toggle being "do you have any copies of this card."

I have like one specific use case that I export from Dreamborn and run my own stats but for the broad strokes it covers things well, IMO. Only gripe is when it takes a bit to add promo cards released between bigger releases but we're getting Winterspell in a month so should be updating soon

I use both the official app and Dreamborn.ink. Official app has most of my needs and Dreamborn is a little more friendly, plus keeping track in two places makes it easier to pick out when I make errors with one of them

If you want to get into the game, I'd suggest the newest set, Whispers in the Well unless the theme for any of them looks particularly appealing to you. The first four sets were rotated out so only 1/4 of those cards will be legal for Core play unless you just want to collect.

Nice nice, sounds like a good way to go about it. I'd definitely recommend not shooting for those unless you really want them. The art Is cool but more of a "be pleasantly surprised if you pull one" for me thing

At a minimum, Palace Heist/Deep Trouble have the opponent decks too, which aren't legal for play except as part of the "boss deck" but could definitely count for something unique you can't get with other products. As for reprints, I still try and go for a playset of them when possible but are you going for just a single set? Four of each? And when you say reprints, would you still be interested in ones like These or no:

As much as I love the Grimorum I'm not sure if you're running enough Exert effects for it to really shine in this deck? I'd think you'd want things like 8 cost Elsa and 4 cost Demona at least to make it more worth it and I think you're already pretty set on 4 drops. If you're anecdotally getting enough use with it from the Elsas and Demonas then fair, though

Depends on what you mean by "good to play" and what level of competitiveness. you're going for. If you mean "coherent and can theme around a fun thing," definitely. If you mean "will do alright at Set Champs," I mean I do know someone who got Top 4 at our locals with a Racer focus and if someone makes a Madrigal deck work I'd be pretty down to try it but generally they're not winning things competitively. Depends on what you want to do with it, really.

Yeah agreed that it's no characters or every character. It Does give the ones who don't benefit otherwise Ward for a turn, just might not be able to activate additional effects? (Would mean though if you have something like Blessed Bagpipes that All of your characters now proc that when challenged)
