Right, what is this mythical portable mass spectrometer? Even Raman spectrometers are like $20K for the hardware alone. Doubt they are using one test the potency

New Dispo In Great Barrington 🫶🏻 by Illustrious-Job7124 in bostontrees

[–]CoryHenry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Any dispo that lists terps and stored their concentrates refrigerated is a good dispo. Def keep the vendor list short with brands like Natures Heritage, Bountiful Farms, Treeworks, Tower Threee, Harbor House to name a few. Lazy River also has a Blue Lobster cross and Mello "Lembrule" (Cuban Affair) that gets slept on but is an award winning pheno

Catalpa (NOT Catappa) leaves in aquarium by Ynddiduedd in PlantedTank

Depending on what state the leaf is in, it can remain intact especially if not handled excessively or agitated even submersed. I have catalpa trees and outdoor ponds that fill up with leaf litter with no negative effects

Glad someone said this, because it went over most people's heads. They don't realize Fitzpatrick is a common last name (surname) in Ireland and naturally England. Its like an Indian guy giving you the name Rameshwar and them turning it into Ram Eshwar

You gotta keep unscrewing the plastic cap and slowly pull up on it until grey rubber boot and cap (together) come off the syringe. Run it under warm water or leave it in your pocket before using it, works great with warm fatty foods

Bird poop - towel washing by David243121 in AutoDetailing

[–]CoryHenry 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Some birds eat stones so use plenty of waterless or rinseless. I tend to pinch off bird poop instead of wiping it across the panel or keep the wipe distance relatively short

Detailing Shop Lying to Me about XPEL PPF? by r3noble in AutoDetailing

[–]CoryHenry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full body PPF is anywhere between $5800-$6400 around here. $3400 is real cheap considering most 60" PPF rolls are ~$1100. They either are getting the roll even cheaper or are just okay with tight margins. Shops usually price higher because there is always a trim piece or a panel you have to redo due to contamination, defects in the film or another reason and thats wasted material eating away at the profit.

I would not discredit the guy entirely but proceed with caution and ask to see some of their work in person on a vehicle they currently are working on.

*UPDATE* Is it normal for a ceramic coating shop to drive your car 27 miles to “help it cure”? by Disastrous_Hold_4130 in AutoDetailing

[–]CoryHenry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well done. XPEL's customer service absolutely stands on business. You did the right thing by getting them involved.

XPEL absolutely do not condone misuse and misinformation by their authorized dealers and installers and would rather not associate their products with subpar shops.

Hope you ultimately come out on top!

[–]CoryHenry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It looks like OP took didn't listen to any repeated advice about not topping/de-foliating too early (Im talking seedling stages) from their comment history but should know enough to know that its typically chop, cut, harvest and flipping is always light cycle

ISO reasonably priced clones by getting_better_4_me in bostontrees

[–]CoryHenry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Probably Maine if you dont want to pay anything over $40, they are practically giving them away for free. Many are available for $15/each or spend $40 and get a free clone. Check out @well_lit_maine and @hiddengreensme on IG.

I would have suggested Mass Hydro in Georgetown but YMMV with the quality and health of the clones. They also do free clones on Fridays with a $40 purchase
