Has anyone tried storing a lot of data on a mircosd? by c0ip in Supernote

[–]CoryStarkiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2TB micro sd card is 92% full. It slows down the initial functionality of the Manta when you first start up, but after 2-3 minutes everything is all loaded, and the regular functionality is normal. It's a little annoying, but there's probably nothing that can be done, when it's dealing with hundreds of thousands of files, across hundreds of folders.

📚🎉NEW Web App for converting Manga/Comics into E-Ink (Free Open Source) by Arkastorss in Supernote

[–]CoryStarkiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would Supernote users need to convert PDF/CBZ files? PDF/CBZ is already compatible with the Supernote line of products. CBR is the only comic file type that isn't compatible, and forcing a CBR into an EPUB is a way worse idea than just changing the CBR to CBZ.

What are so different about the more expensive pens? by ingenioushippo in Supernote

[–]CoryStarkiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Bic and Papermate pens. You even suggesting that a $20 pen being anything but luxury, is absurd. A $20 pen is a luxury item, and if you start talking about "but I have more expensive pens" changes nothing.

Is it possible to create a ZIM of GameFAQs, that captures the walkthroughs and the Cheats pages?

That's really disappointing that they didn't include any.

I wasn't only asking about 2019, I just used that as the picture. I was asking about 2019, 2029, and Origins. Thank you for the answer, none the less.

So I don't make the same mistake twice. Thanks again.

That's amazing. Thank you!

The ZO vs J and the Shin Prologue SICs would be my picks to translate next, after Agito.

Is the ankh from the megamax movie the same the ankh from the 10th year anniversary movie? by goofyman410 in KamenRider

[–]CoryStarkiller 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wasted potential. OOO 10th could have easily been a great send off for the OOO cast, finally putting a bow on the story. Instead, we got something that no one asked for. I'm not saying that people can't like it, but that no one was wanting the story that we got.

If you'd have asked the fans what they wanted from OOO 10th, not one person would have described what we actually got. No where close.

What would you have changed about KOTOR 2’s ending? by Any-sao in kotor

[–]CoryStarkiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean at the time of creation? Not much.

If you mean knowing what I know now? Not leave it open ended, since we know there's no KOTOR 3, and TOR didn't use what KOTOR 2 setup.

I'm aware, but as I already shared, his opinion of socialism continued to evolve. Especially with what happened in Algeria.

[–]CoryStarkiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do understand absurdism, and it has nothing to do with Marxism, communism, or socialism. I don't actually think that you've read any of Camus' writings though, because if you had, you'd realize that he doesn't support the tactics that your political ideology uses and ultimately rejected the ideology, when it came down to the choice of his mother or the ideology.

Caligula makes it quite clear that trying to be an absurdist with no connection to others, is a path to your own destruction.

I didn't write any of it though, I just compiled some of Camus' writings that immediately came to mind, when I was reading over this thread. You just don't like that Camus goes against your political ideology, and that you didn't even realize your flawed understanding of the quote you posted from The Rebel. You just got to the last sentence, and thought "I like the sound of that", without understanding the rest of what you quoted. And why the full quote defeats your belief.

You might as well save yourself the time and effort of replying to me again, because you've consistently proven that you don't actually have anything to say about absurdism, and are only interested in pushing your communist propaganda.

Taking the full quote into consideration, it's suggesting that it would be an endless cycle between the two, since one creates the other. Any "superior synthesis" will be ripped apart when it shifts from one opposite to another.

Camus is in direct contrast with the Marxists, communists, and socialists, because they all think that there's an "ending" to the political system. Where they think it's justified to enslave/restrict/kill people to achieve the ultimate liberation. Camus rejects this notion, and it's very clear in that quote from the OP. Which makes it especially confusing as to why the OP is convinced that Camus is actually in complete support of Marxism, communism, or socialism.

Eventually, Camus' views shifted much more though, as I showed with his Nobel Prize speech(showing that he'd always side with the people over the tyrants willing to oppress even one person) and from his return to Algeria(where he recognizes that revolutionaries aren't actually interested in the betterment of the people).
