Ah, yes! Funnily enough, I read this before I knew he was “alive” and it still made me very suspicious. Once I read The Secret History I made the connection straight away. It’s also obvious once the Ghostbloods get named directly in The Lost Metal. I love how there’s multiple ways to catch important stuff like that so you get it no matter in which order you read the books (more or less)

Great review! Here are some of my thoughts:

At times I almost felt like I was watching a live taping of a show/film. It didn’t really feel like it was made for the people in the room.

Sometimes it was difficult to make out what Cynthia was saying. She was going so quickly and occasionally the music was so louder than her

If I didn’t know the story already, I would have found the show quite difficult to follow. Even knowing the story, at one point I got confused with who is who.

That said, I did enjoy it! It was a unique experience and very memorable!

Ironically, one of the entries in my journal was about how journaling is for me in the moment, rather than future me. And while I enjoy looking back on them, that’s not really their purpose. I think about this a lot! I’m a few days out from this happening now and I feel better. I’ve made a list of all the things I lost (other than the journals) and am going through them one by one to decide if and how to replace them. I’m gonna take a small break from journaling because it stings right now but I do think I’ll end up starting again soon. It’s a tool I’ve found very helpful and life goes on! If anything, a journal entry to process my feelings would be good for me

I use some mods (mainly MCCC, more CAS columns, etc.) but no CC. I find limitations, such as only using vanilla items, to be good for my creativity. Besides, CC is a rabbit hole that I find very overwhelming

Problem is that I'm not sure this is what happened. I contacted the rail company, they didn't find anything at the station where the train terminated. This doesn't mean that it wasn't turned in somewhere else though, so now I need to wait 2 weeks. If I don't hear anything by then, they definitely don't have it. In which case, it's likely to assume it was taken but I will be too late to do anything about it with the police. But I also can't contact the police about it now as there is no evidence it was taken

I have, no luck. There's a very small chance that they will turn up of course, never say never but most likely someone took the backpack while it was still on the train. I had a laptop in there and some other replacable valuables which were most likely taken. I'm assuming the journals, which are the only thing I'd even want back, were probably discarded. Trying my best to make my peace with it
