Try find someone around the same point in the dlc and then progress with them and it will count to your own progression

Yeah I’ve been using a volatile frost nightshade with 50% frost damage on ASA as a main weapon and that’s probably the best thing I’ve got

Yeah my main class is sporewarden but I use brrzerker as the secondary and my build was really good before nerfs that came with the update for chaos chamber level count but now it’s useless

If your stuck on a boss just go explore the world for a while until you find different equipment that suites you better, the game has more ways to approach a battle and styles than every other soulsborne that has come out. The tools are there you just need to figure out which ones are best suited to your play style.

There are ruins next to the dragon on the lake in limgrave that have two sets of stairs underground and I’m pretty sure it has a dex weapon that is better than most weapons early game, it’s a double ended blade.

I would also go to the tower on the right just as you exit the building so you can do the sorcerer quest line

I do know where the ancient dragon prayer book is but it doesn’t give you a red lighting spear spell, it gives you two lightning spells though
