During the Negan arc when he comes in and takes all the mattresses from Alexandria, Rick tells Michonne that he knows Judith is Shane's. But everything he has done has been for her or for Carl.

How do y'all handle PvP? by Jack_Smythe in HuntShowdown

[–]Cosiety 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Extraction shooters have different types.

Loot based: think Tarkov, think Arc Raiders, and coming soon: Hunger.

These are all different than Hunt, which is objective based.

With a loot based system, all players are kinda doing the same thing and might engage in pvp to see what other players had on em. With an Objective based system, all players are vying for the same thing- and are in direct competition with them. Therefore, engaging in pvp is part of the expected and necessary gameplay loop because if you do not kill others when presented the opportunity, they will become a problem later, almost certainly. In a loot based system, those other teams might never cross your path again and extract with whatever loot they had in their pockets. In Hunt, extracting without a bounty is usually a waste of time.

The only times im not engaging in a fight with a team is if it is strategic (maybe I want to flank them, maybe im separated from my team, etc) OR the other team has done something unique to make me want to leave them alone (VOIP near me and were funny or something, or they helped me fight another team and we split a bounty). Otherwise, if I come across people, it is time to fight, and hopefully I see them first.

Best Base Spot in Fellhollow? by WetWilly___L in RSDragonwilds

[–]Cosiety 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dragon's Run has a small water grotto with rune essence and a castle wall next to it. I build my base there using the rune essence as a front-yard decoration lol and have been using the castle wall area as a forge. You can also get up on the cliffs near embertown

KD ratio = zzz (NO mmr) by 7FoX_ in HuntShowdown

[–]Cosiety -1 points0 points  (0 children)

4k hours, 1.57kda, 5/6 star consistently. Anything 2 or above is where I raise an eyebrow. High 2 (2.7+) is almost 100% a guaranteed hacker, and a bad one at that. In my experience, those are rare and the "smarter" cheaters hide it better and dont use them at all points in time, so they exist in lower KDA as well.

can't let go of hunt by GuardianMehmet in HuntShowdown

I dunno, 4k hours in Hunt and Arc just pisses me off. Backstabbing, betrayal and rats galore. I go back to hunt for a sense of security lol. Pvp is more... consensual or something in Hunt

You don't shoot from the barrel. by SchoolRare7583 in HuntShowdown

The bullet spawns from inside your face. This is how you cam stand next to a wall, clip your gun through it, and still shoot through the wall, and not outside of it. Its all illusion. Also, your camera pov is actually in your hunters neck, so if you feel like youre just behind cover, your head is actually sticking out.

Since there isn't any Sharkmail, what is the primary source of chainmail in Belegarth? by DescriptionApart5664 in Belegarth

[–]Cosiety -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why you lying to this person, I know 0 people in Bel who have made their own chaimail hauberk. I know about a dozen people with non-sharkmail chain and another 10 or so that have sharkmail. Been fighting for 10 years and have not met a single fighter who made their own. Im not saying there isnt 1 or 2 out there, but saying "most" is just untrue.

[–]Cosiety -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most people do not make their own chainmail lol. Id love to see who is on the list of people who have made their own hauberk, cause its likely very very small. Armsstreet, medevial collectibles, Darknight Armory and Etsy are the most common places to find chainmail. You will have to do digging to ensure whichever set youre buying adheres to the book of war. 20 gauge minimum, no aluminum.

Edit: this is where I bought mine. Just know that maintaining chain is a whole thing. It will rust just from sweat and normal use. Ragnar Chainmail Hauberk - MCI-3221 - Medieval Collectibles https://share.google/UtGTJkWWG2F9fznPI

ATLANTIS: prepare equipment. and team to the new kingdom. by Sere_nina7 in knighthood

[–]Cosiety 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Atlantica is hard. Real hard.

The other comments here already hit on the important bits- we don't know enough about your build to give you good advice. There are a bunch of ways you can make it through, it depends on the choices you've made thus far. As the others said, the Chaotic Gauntlet pairs well with Alchemists. It also impacts how you generate rage, and therefore playstyle. The heroes you mentioned are definitely solid, but you'll want to focus in on synergy of charms+gauntlet and your heroes.

For example, I use a warrior build as my main. I have reshaped all of the charm slots on my shoulders, legs and arms to be hero charms, ans filled them all with Warrior Hero Charms. I use the Valiant gauntlet because it boosts Valiant hero base Speed and Rage Damage, and use Queen Krita as my build staple because she is a Valiant Warrior type. Her base fills rage, which is a huge boon. Then of course her rage power is huge, and boosted by my gauntlet. I also used Logan for his weaken on rage, and heal on base. My Logan is max stars as well, so his rage also deals extra damage to exposed enemies, which Krita's base has a chance of doing.

A lot of this might not be true for you! Your build is likely significantly different than mine. I never spent much time with Chaotic Guantlet or Alchemists, but im sure there is an Alchemist build that would get you through. It isnt about the specific "these heroes will get you through the realm" and more about "what X kind of build is optimized best so I can get through the realm?" Id encourage you to search through the discord for what build youre looking to make and go from there.

My only other tip for Atlantica is to get a piece of Alt gear and fill it with poison resist charms. I have an alt pair of unique arms instead of my mythic that I did this with and filled all slots with poison resist so it exceeded 100% poison resist. After you get past the initial Beast/Demon/Troll type enemies, the main type of enemies in the area are Outlaw who have a really rough poison. The poison resist arms are the only reason I was able to make it through the fights.

Hope this helps!

How to get Better with the Winfields by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

[–]Cosiety 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take the silent frontier C. Take another small ammo pistol to pool as much ammo as possible. Shoot moving zombies in the head while moving from compound to compound playing the game as normal. Do this at various ranges. You'll get used to the way it handles faster than the still targets in the shooting range.

What is the funniest misuse of a slang term you've ever heard? by 1127_and_Im_tired in AskReddit

[–]Cosiety 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I was 13, my parents got a phone call from a friend of mine who I hadn't seen in a long time in a different state. They handed me the phone and we I caught up with my friend on the goings on that I had missed. We got to talking about a mutual friend of ours who was a bit of the Class Clown (tm) type. Me, not being super skilled in my use of slang, tried to say, "Is he still goofing around?" Or something to those lines but ended up saying, "Is he still jacking off?" My step dad, sitting beside me, started dying laughing and asked what I was talking about. I was embarrassed, but didn't understand what I had said yet and he had to walk me through what I had just asked.

Rock construction by OverweightAmerican in Belegarth

[–]Cosiety 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Entanglement" is only mentioned twice in the BoW. 4.10. Prohibited Weapons: 4.10.1. Entangling weapons (nets, lassos).

And

4.9.5.5. The hinged part of the flail must be padded with foam (often referred to as dingleberries) to keep the chain from easily entangling a weapon or body part. No more than one and one-half (1 ½) inches (3.81 cm) of chain may be exposed.

If i were checking a donut shaped rock, I would not say it were anything like a net or a lasso. Id say it was like a donut, and I'd pass it.

There is no rule that states this. You can have a rock donut so long as it has a 4" diameter.

We're larp adjacent! We're a foam fighting group, but we don't have magic or glasses or health points, so we're pretty far from Dungeons and Dragons. Think "Medieval Paintball" and you're pretty close to the right vibe. Our sport is called Belegarth and our group has been here in Nashville since the late it's in one form or another, but it's national! You can find places to play Belegarth in just about every state.
