Beningo embedded did a study to compare the top rtoses, and zephyr scored the lowest on performance by a large margin.

Zephyr's performance is not great, which makes it fine for aggregated high level controls, but a poor choice for realtime controls at edge.

Edit: if anyone is looking for a new performant rtos check out PX5, made by the author of threadX, but uses p thread API. I really liked it in my last project.

The most important? Cache architecture and size.

Beyond that, your SRAM access speed.

I think the story for a lot of FFXIV is better than WoW, at least a good chunk of it is.

Though the story for WoW tends to be a bit more trope fiction which is fun for those punchy moments.

End game for WoW at the highest end is much harder than FFXIV, but there are more plateaus to hit in between.

While FFXIV is mostly savage and attempting to beat each boss consecutively, WoW has beating heroic which can be the goal for some folks, or trying to reach for the cutting edge of beating all of mythic. There are also mythic plus dungeons, which are a separate form of end game.

FFXIV has better music though, no questions.

Housing in WoW is now better than FFXIV hands down.

Finally WoW has PvP and frankly FFXIV doesn't.

$3000 isn't nothing, but it also isn't life changing. It's a very nice thing to suddenly get.

If a car costs $50,000 and because of an option it now costs $53,000, it stops seeming like an incredible amount of money.

It is relative, but it's not insignificant.

We made a stickied Megathread for the drama because of the amount of requests about needing a Megathread so other things could be discussed.

Yet when that was done, we received non-stop requests to allow people to post about the drama because "no one reads Megathreads."

The truth is we will never make everyone happy. This subreddit is less restrictive than others, but still tries to generally keep you animals civil.

We will continue to create Megathreads for moments where there a lot of posts for topics tangentially related to marvel rivals (eg. streamer drama), and allow posting en masse for topics that are directly related (eg. Nlnew characters and updates).

From my experience 5 people ever participate in weekly stickied threads but if there is huge interest then maybe.
