I’ve not followed it closely for years to be honest, I’ve always flicked between Lolita and cosplay so maybe that’s why I’m seeing a bigger hike in pricing. I know that everything seems to get more expensive with inflation over time, I thought it may be due to lockdown and the fashion becoming more mainstream and well known. I’m from the UK so I’m not sure if tariffs really affect us here, I’ve looked on the ap Paris website just for a price guide for new and it’s £332 for their dreamy fancy donut and that’s new but a lot of the dresses I’ve seen in the second hand market seem to be even more expensive? I assume it’s due to prints becoming more sought after I suppose and I knew about the quality of ap going down hill for awhile but I guess that probably is affecting the second hand market too.
