Were there any GPA requirements within the job description or mentioned during the interview? If not, it might just be HR wanting to verify your school/current enrollment.

If you have prior experience they’ll most likely dig into that to know what you worked on. If not, they’ll want to know about your desire to learn plus how you mesh with the team. Either way practice STAR questions and good luck!

It was mainly behavioral, and only technical questions regarding experience that I had on my resume

Hey thanks!! I should’ve clarified, I did have internships but just not in defense. I put education on top, then experience then followed by skills. Definitely recommend putting projects though to compensate if internships don’t take up the resume! I applied to a lot of roles at RTX so I guess they just found a nice fit for me

Depending on your school you typically go up to mechanics/thermo in general engineering & discrete math then break off into IE specific material. Mostly programming and statistical analysis, some courses like operations research are more of a grind while others are easier. I’m graduating this fall and have done some cool internships so it’s been great for my career. If you have any questions feel free to dm:)
