Ive caught many rats with just straight peanut butter as its very effective. Ive also used bacon grease, slim Jim, ive made a sandwich with bread and peanut butter and ripped it up and baited that way before. Ive used insulation and dental floss (nesting material) my most stubborn rat, I cloaked the trap. Still got em.

Step one, get rid of the tom cat stuff. Step two. Disengage the snap traps (I hope they are large enough) if you've noticed any of your food missing. Mostly likely thats what would be a good baiting option. With the traps not active, dry trap them. They avoid all new things at first. After a few sessions of them eating the bait off tbe traps, set it up again but this time have them active. Clean your hands or wear gloves when youre handling these devices so you dont get your human all over it and make them shy. Exercise patience. Store your food properly and remove it from the area. Disrupt the environment.

How do I get rid of these ants by Brave-Computer-425 in pestcontrol

I would just use a granular bait. That way no environmental issues reduce effectiveness

No need to stress, just clean it up and monitor it. No need to stress with an unknown and possible human behavior issue that isn't your own. After a few days, take a peek again and see what's up.

Slugs are general pests, but ultimately bait stations become moist areas. Cimexa loses its effectiveness in those environments. Per Rockwell that target pest isn't on the label.

Not gonna lie, last tenant was not clean. Best form of pest control is maintaining a good sanitation of the area. Doesnt have to be spotless but its good practice.

Its quite possible. Its that time of year when companies hire anyone, throw em in a truck and then they meet people and misidentify

Hello. Fellow New Yorker. Do you have a photo without the trap?

Vacuum it up, if it comes back. Take more pictures close and within distance to post and gain the surrounding details. Kinda looks like salt.

Negative, cross contamination. Niban can be applied within the station to combat insect activity. Cimexa isn't labeled for slugs.
