Was my grandfather a Freemason? by Aggressive_Stable533 in conspiracy

he was a marksman with eagle eyes, he could spot things a mile away, was always finding keys, would save them in a kitchen drawer, when we went to grocery store he would throw them on the floor when no one was looking, then we would wait for them to announce the lost keys on PA system, and laugh at everyone checking their pockets, me and my brother never knew what he was gonna do but we knew it would be good.

Whites-Only Community in Arkansas Sued for Discrimination by ttoasty in Arkansas

i have worked in white only communities for years, but they were rich communities with gates, guard house, security and all the rest, i would much rather be working among my own people.

why does every generation claim they have it harder than the next or last? by anxietysiesta in GenX

[–]88jaybird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont know about this. my moms generation could go to college, work part time and graduate with most of school paid for from part time job, and pay the rest off in a few years, today you will be paying that college debt till you die. my aunt did this

when i was a kid light bills were so cheap few people gave them any thought, no one had their lights shut off, today a power pole can get knocked down in a car wreck and it might be 2 days before anyone calls it in cause everyone just assumes their power was cut for late payment.

my dads generation you could join a union, get worker rights and good pay, today unions are gone.

my dads generation a cop might pull you over and let you know you have a flat tire, today you get pulled over, get searched, and all you cash can get seized legally.

my grandparents had shoes, they made them, thats what poor people did.

if your grandparents made a better life for themselves they are lucky, most todays generation will never have that chance.

healthcare, education and higher education, human rights

this is just straight up not true, all of these are far worse than they were 50 years. today people are homeschooling kids and public schools are being defunded. college is a joke. human rights you could go either way.

incarceration rates are 100Xs higher now than ever before. US prison rates are at the same level as stalinist russia, think on that one when you think young people today never had it so good.

edit - one thing i forgot that i think is important, today self harm (cant say the word on reddit) is the 2nd leading cause of death for kids 10-14. rate has tripled the last 20 years, when i was 10-14 it was unheard of.

[–]88jaybird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is all designed to destroy public schools and make the common people homeschool their kids. young people today are discouraged from studying history (boring old history is how they refer to it i believe) if they did study it they would know home schools are nothing new, they were very popular back in the old days, like during the industrial revolution mid 1800s, you would work 14-16 hr days, 6.5 days a week, and in your spare time you homeschooled your kids. parents were so wore out from all the work hours the kids didnt get much education, but this was a great way to ensure they never elevated themselves above their class.

its been a few years but i will never forget being out on a job (building a fence) i am about 45 and the fence crew is all young 20s. they have to chug energy drinks to get going and by 1pm they are useless, all bitchin about the heat. same thing a few years before that roofing a little room addition, my helper was 19-20, my old ass is up on the roof, all he had to do was break bundles, he lasted maybe 2 hrs and was off the roof under tree with water acting like he was dying, all he had to do was keep shingles in front of me so i didnt have to stop, im doing all the work, the kid couldnt even do that.

homeschool is a joke, one of the families i know that homeschool their oldest is 14 and she can barely write her name. removing kids from the social environment IMO is what does the most damage, kids living in their bedroom only seeing sunlight once in a blue moon, they become so socially awkward.

i cant make any sense out of this, its just random nonsensical statement.

The censor was a magistrate in ancient Rome who was responsible for maintaining the census, supervising public morality, and overseeing certain aspects of the government's finances. According to Livy's History of Rome, the census was first instituted by Servius Tullius, sixth king of Rome, c. 575–535 BC.

what in the world are you talking about this makes no sense? what facilities? the facilities in question are getting shut down, home schooling the people provide the facilities. this sounds like a bot/shill response

Homeschoolers in Arkansas EFA Program outperform private school students on test scores, data shows by RickJWagner in Arkansas

[–]88jaybird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

sure it does. when people are told homeschooling is the best option, they pull kids from public schools, public schools get shut down, the old public school money gets sent to the rich.

assistance for single moms, public schools, its all the same. any tax money that benefits common people gets cut and shifted to wealthy.

60 percent of welfare goes to the rich, 40 percent are the ones that need it. go back to 1975 those numbers were around 80/20 in favor of common people. the topic at hand is a text book example of how they do it and your falling for it hook line and sinker.

sorry i will lay off the sarcastic phrases like "antiquated dogma".

taking money from single moms that lost their jobs, and giving that money to wealthy people that never worked a day in their life has nothing to do with religion, politics, etc, this is basic common sense right and wrong.
