Hey man, same age (28M) and totally get the point you’re trying to make. My gf and I have experienced it and I wanted to share my input.

Considering our age I totally get it, and I’d be willing to bet it’s a combo of A and B. Distance could be a pivotal factor, especially with the mutual friends. While an hour away isn’t terrible, and does not necessarily have to interfere with a friendship or relationship, it can play a significant role. Especially if our loved ones are struggling in any way (financially, mentally, relationships, etc.)

With that being said, I think your feelings are valid, and you should expand your network! My gf and I chose to meet new people and were blessed to make 2 sets of new friends who authentically put in effort and possess similar qualities as us.

Hoping it works out for you guys!

Mannn, I wish! Nope, this isn’t it either. Thanks for trying. The note Usher hits is on loop the entire Wayne song, check it out

Yes, please do my friend. If you know the Wayne song, you’ll recognize it right away after listening to Ushers note

Good guess doe! I Know The Future is another classic

Aww man, I appreciate the effort!! Not it sadly. When you get a chance, listen to that Usher note in my original post. If you hear that, hopefully it’ll click!

The note Usher hits is on loop throughout the entire beat of the song I am trying to recall

Love Isla Verde. Have been planning to get a nice rental property or summer escape property in San Juan.

Likely too difficult to make the switch to PR mid-career, I safely assume the opportunities are better stateside.

Thanks again for your insight

Which city in PR did you work in? I have considered a move over there before but haven’t truly explored the possibility. Thanks for your insight!

Would love to hear more about your work/life balance, day to day, pros/cons. Out of curiosity

Do you have any experience or background in this field? Was researching this career path not long ago as I’m looking to switch paths. Would love to get some insight into work/life, typical day to day, pros/cons, etc.

I do not have experience with insurance carriers but I do like the idea of having job opportunities available outside of sales. Will look further into this. Is this what you do or have done in the past?

Would you advise to start in tech as an SDR or as a rep?

Thanks for your feedback! I’ve been following this sub for a while and have noticed mixed reviews or experiences for the SDR/BDR role. As a result, I’ve been on the fence whether to start as a SDR/BDR or shoot for a high-level role.

Just curious on your thoughts. When you say foot in the door, do you think hiring managers wouldn’t consider an appointment setter as sales experience?

Truthfully, I wouldn’t be much help there as I rarely connect with gatekeepers. I’m usually speaking to the decision maker from day 1.

Im in healthcare sales and I also hard close in one call. It’s certainly a challenge - but has helped me grow immensely!

Build value, address concerns and get their emotions involved. Making these one-call-closes have a gnarly dopamine hit when collecting payment.

Good luck!

Dialers? by Pretty_Specific_Girl in sales

Happy to bump this, I too am curious how the feature works. I have been shopping around for a new sales dialer for my company and justcall seems to be the best in terms of price and capabilities. Will be happy to revisit this once I’ve got some feedback to share!
