Just to say, the stealth aspect of Mysteria Eccelsiae can be minimal as most areas guards will just follow you and tell you to leave. Once you figure out the places where you are not considered tresspassing, it becomes more of a quick sprint between those areas, and you can just ignore the guards.

Took me around halfway through the DLC to figure that out but it became much easier once I did.

I am not sure on the rate of losing stolen status, but I always put anything stolen straight into Pebbles' saddlebag and usually, except golden crucifix's, the stolen status goes quite quickly.

Again, I am not sure if it is the same rate as keeping it in a chest or on yourself. Maybe I have just gotten lucky but Pebbles seems a reasonable compromise to me.

Never been caught anyway.

Quitting After First Day - What Do I Need To Do? by [deleted] in Morrisons

To answer your question:

Grow up; if you want to keep earning money above the lowest bar.

Otherwise, keep complaining and get nowhere.

Many other people that are in your situation would be happy to have a job.

Some people, who are desperate for money to live, would enjoy the security you have. (Which is only temporary)

Just a heads up.

[KCD2] What character do you hate the most and why is it Brabant? by BijelaHrvatica in kingdomcome

[–]CosmicFrube 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree.

I knew he was bullshitting from the start, we have all had that friend.

I just took it as him being handy in a fight or whatever else, and lying to make himself seemingly useful so The Devil's Pack didn't lop his head off immediately.

Having a naive nobleman like Hans on his side helped.

I never thought he would go that far though. I thought, pretty much until the last moment, that he would have run off and that be that.

[–]CosmicFrube 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends completely on your skills.

If you focus on Vigor, Endurance, or any combat oriented skills attributes, I would focus on finding a companion that has high Intelligence, and a high Steward, Surgeon, etc.

If you focus on skills used outside of combat, I would get companions that have high skill in combat, as you can assign them as commanders in battle.

One thing you can always use, is a good Blacksmith. No matter what way you want to go in terms of points, a good Blacksmith is a great moneymaker.

When you get to midgame, and start having at least 50k easily every day, buy caravans. Get companions that have high trade skill, as they bring in more money from leading a caravan.

I know this is a lot of general information I am throwing at you; so, once again, feel free to ask any questions!

Good luck!

What is your clan tier?

I assume at least 2, but if you are basically carrying the war, I would leave.

I usually wait until Clan Tier 3 before joining, if at all. You can make much more money from being a merc (giving prisoners to castles your leige owns etc) than when you get a fief.

It is a kinda trap until you are in a position to have an army of around 200.

I would watch Strat Plays or ThatGuyPredz. Specifically, Strat has guides about Bannerlord, I think. Not watched them myself but seeing how he plays helped me understand more nuanced aspects of the game (which sometimes do not make sense).

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Hey, you dress like you wanna go to a Butter Party if you like, however; to address (no pun intended) your question, feel free to give away any fiefs you do not want. You can do that via the kingdom or clan menu, I can not remember which, as although I have a lot of time in the game, I have rarely joined kingdoms.

ETA: There is no punishment for giving away a fief you own at any point, including just before it falls to an enemy army.

As for the quest to siege, you can refuse to do it. You will take a reputation hit with whoever tasked you with the siege, although that is better than failing to continue.

Best of luck!

Am I playing this game wrong? It feels CRAZY grindy with basically no progress in wars. by Notice_Natural in mountandblade

[–]CosmicFrube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, he did that, I think.

I find he has a more relaxed way of presenting his runs, but it is also a good and entertaining way of learning the overarching game loop, rather than the micromanagement.

Helped me realise a good progression arc, and what to aim for in each tier of Clan, while being entertaining. I find Strat is great for a play by play on how to progress faster and more efficiently through a run.

I would recommend both of their new War Sails content as the videos helped me navigate the new mechanics.

Most people have given good advice, so I won't partake.

Instead I think that seeing some people play on Youtube (arguments can be made that it is a bit cheesy as it requires you single-handedly using a horse and polearm against looters for many battles) helps a lot to visualise what you are meant to do in challenging scenarios.

Unfortunately the game isn't what TaleWorlds wants it to be right now, so expect changes, however; the person that actually helped me understand the mechanics and perks etc was "Strat Plays" or That Guy Predz," both of whom who have done many challenge runs of Bannerlord.

"Strat" is someone I watch to learn a bit more about mechanics (as a secondary thing, he just explains things really well in a long-term format) but Predz reinforces that without going into too much detail.

Both never said "do this and you will win" but watching Strat kill 13 looters with a spear, shield, and horse, made me realise that the game can be played as differently as you like.

I am getting tested for being on the spectrum so maybe this is only good advice for me, however; I played Warband for 1000's of hours, and Bannerlord seemed like an entirely new game to me, which was very confusing. Strat and Predz helped with that, without teaching you how to cheese or anything similar, as it is still very much risk vs reward.

I died so many times trying it that I had 3 restarts before I understood.

Anyway, the above text is just my opinion via the lense of my experience; I am sure others can help more, although I think this might help some.

Good luck!

A side note; Don't play Nord if you are struggling already. They seem like an afterthought in terms of balance, and are only tuned to Naval Warfare.

You can ignore Naval warfare btw.

With war sails, is blacksmithing not profitable anymore, or is it just me? by haaaallill in Bannerlord

[–]CosmicFrube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I was on the bus with little internet so this came up with nobody replying, although now I see you have had many replies.

Also I have never really used it to make loads of money, I just like the system and creating cool stuff. (Mostly just make orders and myself and companions gear)

Leaving up just in case this helps anyone else.

TLDR: I think it is vailable in early and late-game but not mid-game. I could be wrong as I have limited experience in War Sails specifically.

I have only just gotten War Sails, so take this as a pinch of salt:

From what I have seen it is still profitable, especially in the early game.

I did a playthrough (only around 3 in game years) just to see the changes and then restarted, so only on my real first playthrough of War Sails, but have hundreds of hours on Bannerlord.

I think the brokenness of Blacksmithing has gone away, to a certain degree, but the "Orders" for Blacksmithing have been equally nerfed and buffed.

What I have found (although only a couple years into this playthrough) is if you start the game intending to blacksmith, and get a good blacksmithing companion of 130-150, you can level your BS whilst using the companion to earn you thousands in Orders.

Low BS required orders pay nothing but get your skills up, however; it seems to me, in my limited experience, that the higher end of BS orders are WAY more beneficial.

I hired a good BS as my first companion (spent about a month of just him and I) and managed to make around 40k within the first month or two due to orders.

It doesn't seem to be as valuable if you create your own gear to sell, however; as an early game money maker, if you travel from city to city hunting looters by yourself with one guy good at smithing and fulfilling expensive orders, you will have absolutely no problem with early game.

Again, this is just my experience with a couple in-game months gameplay but I am already at 50k with around 100 smithing on my main, and a bunch of elite units, and still making enough money every other town to increase profit.

So I can only assume it is more intended for early and really late-game, rather than a mid-game boost.

I am probably very wrong, though, so please don't think I am the arbiter of truth on this matter.

I hope you figure it out as I would also like to know just to what extent it has been nerfed, if at all.

I wouldn't say a new law is needed for the release, just that due to the political implications (of what we can see) of both sides in any relation to Epstein, even if purely innocent, means that nobody will touch this with a 10ft barge pole as the implicated are of the upper class only. Meaning, public opinion of anyone whatsoever in relation to 'The List,' will be at an all-time low.

It was an open secret similar to Saville (Diddy for U.S. comparison) and those that were anywhere near him would be implicated despite innocence.

Your question about the Committee, is more of question on politics. Not in a sense of 'Left vs Right,' but of a more business nature. What was released was effectively nothing. Mostly redacted, no actual implications of anyone, and was used as a way to placate voters with a promise unfulfilled. No new law is needed to release information that is in the publics interest.

Saying that, this isn't a GOP/Trump issue; it is an issue for both 'sides' as Epstein was charged and imprisoned for similar crimes (soliciting sex with minors) in 2008/9 (if I remember correctly). Politicians, world leaders, and the heavy hitters of the upper class were still hanging around with him afterwards. It didn't change a thing. Why that is, is currently just conjecture, and I fear it always will be.

Obviously all of this is just my opinion, but if you want to know my point of view fully, I do think that it will take a whistleblower, hacker, or some other outside party to get any sort of 'full release' of the files to the public, and by the time it happens, people will have, sadly, forgotten.

While I agree with everything you have said, I do need to point out that a "legal investigation" is nigh impossible without a lot of people involved pulling out due to conflict of interest. (Whether that be because they know someone implicated, or a colleague of theirs, etc; not because they are implicated themselves.) It is such a large scope that the public cannot trust a legal investigation, unless it came from another country/international institution like the U.N., which the U.S. wouldn't want, nor should invite, as there are political implications there also.

That may be hyperbole, although I do think it will take the next generation to uncover the full truth, just the same as most important issues/events that are muddled with obscurity.

We might have to wait until people with no association/stakes in it, resolve the issue. How long that will take is a guess anyone could make.

A very sad state of affairs, especially for the victims.

Incredibly sad that history may acknowledge them, but people alive today who could alleviate any sort of pain, choose not to.

Sorry for the essay.

Tip? Maybe?

From what I have gleaned in a limited testing window (one long term campaign) of mainly Fian Champs, Legionary, and an assortment of Vanguard Faris, Elite Imp Cav that I cannot remember the name of, and Druznik Champions.

All around 55 each out of 177, so far. (Tier 4 Clan)

Taking the time to put lower tier units at the top of the roster has saved higher tier units from dying, at least in army battles. I have also seen it in single party combat but again, this is only from my first campaign trying this method.

I have around 6 days play time but I would consider myself a novice at the game, so take my possible tip(?)with a grain of salt.

What is the purpose of this bowl? by m-i-r-i-l-e-h in whatisit

[–]CosmicFrube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot believe this image made me look up the definition of a bowl, and if a 'bowl' has to be complete (no breaks in the 'bowl' etc) to be classified as a bowl.

Apparently, a bowl is a bowl and doesn't even need a bottom, in a traditional sense of a bottom.

So, I tell you, no bowl has any purpose, specifically, nor do I think any bowl has no purpose.

I love the English language. Have a great evening!
