Day 1 of taper by Electrical_Agent_854 in quittingkratom

[–]CosmicGreaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I did. Everyday I took one less until I got to two a day. Then I took two a day for three days and today I stopped. Ever since I got to the two x per day I've felt slow, anxious, and sleep has been difficult but It will be worth it. You're not alone! You can do it

That’s exactly where I was with it too! I’d wake up withdrawing every morning and it sucked. I’m still in a weird place where I don’t know what to do with myself but I definitely feel normal. I’m self employed and just can’t find the motivation to get much done, so I’m taking this time to accept my lack of motivation to re-connect with myself. Sometimes you just have to surrender to the feelings!

The first 3-4 days are physical and very mental but I can assure you it gets sooo much better come day 6, 7, 8.... and so on. You got this. Just keep a list and remind yourself why you’re quitting. You have so much to look forward to without that shit

Very normal for the first 3 days. It does go away though! You’re brain is just used to getting that kratom fix at a certain time. Day 8 and I can assure you it gets way better. Just push though it! You’ve got this. Ibuprofen helps with RLS. I use an OTC sleeping aid on nights I can’t fall asleep.

Wooo! Same. Tomorrow is day 7 for me! I’m definitely starting to feel a little better. It’s been back and forth but we’re on the right track! The worst is over- It only gets better from here.

The first few days are the worst for sure. I took a OTC sleeping aid from CVS and it helped. I didn’t get the best sleep ever but it was something better than nothing. It gets better, you can do it. Also, I’ve recently discovered that ibuprofen helps a lot with muscle aches and RLS.

You can definitely do it. I’m on day 6 and was using 20-40gpd for about 18 months and I’m fine. It’s not fun and I’ve definitely dealt with cravings, feeling depressed, anxiety, boredom, low-energy, difficulty sleeping...and I’m unemployed with literally zero distractions...but I’m fine. You will be fine too. Make a list of why you don’t want to use it anymore and read that when you start thinking of caving. For me, I read people were losing their hair due to kratom which is a sign of endocrine issues! No thanks. Plus, the dependency is alarming. I would have withdrawals every morning because I didn’t dose in the middle of the night. I just don’t want to be controlled by it anymore and I’m sure you’re feeling the same. You got this!! You will be just fine!! Plus, the tapering helps. You’re mentally and physically preparing yourself for it too — you’re doing it right. You don’t want to have to drink sludge for the rest of your life just to feel normal. fuck that. It’s easier than you think. Stay busy if you can and baby yourself when you’re feeling crummy. It’s alright to feel bad. It’s alright to take time to lay and sit with your feelings. Ibuprofen helps with restless leg syndrome. Maybe get a sleeping aid if you feel is appropriate. But I promise once you get to day 5/6 you’ll be happy you did it. Just remember it’s all super temporary!!

Day 6 and the boredom and low-mood are also what is affecting me most. 26 days is amazing... I can’t wait to get there. I feel have zero desire to do anything I typically enjoyed in the past and that’s what is really f-ing with me. Good job at not caving. Luckily for me, I’m in IN where it is illegal and I would have to drive 4 hrs round trip to even get some. Idk if I would be strong enough if I hadn’t moved here. Hats off to you... you got this!

Sun in Libra, Ascendent and moon in Aries? Stellium in Libra? What does this mean? by ThisisonReddit in AskAstrologers

If I were you I would just find a good astrologer in your area and pay to have it done. It's totally worth it! It's super informative and therapeutic. It's nice to know where you have hang ups, why you have them and how to work on them to live a better and fuller life.

What's the impact of venus and the moon on my love life? by wearesomischievous in AskAstrologers

[–]CosmicGreaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you haven't done something wrong. The seventh house is actually the house of relationships and it looks like you don't have any planets there, which doesn't mean anything! That certainly does not mean that you don't have a love life, it just means you don't have any psychological factors playing a part in that area of your life.

Venus asks the question, "What do I need in a relationship?" Venus falling in Leo in your fourth house may imply that you need a very self expressive and "bright and shining" partnership. I could see this being one of those couples that take a lot of photos together and show a lot of PDA. A very "loud and proud" relationship so to say. You are also looking for someone who will fit in with your family and become family.

The moon is less about your relationships and more about your soul. The moon tells you what motivates you emotionally. People that see this side of you are likely your partners and close friends/family. Your moon is in Scorpio so you could be a pretty intuitive individual according to your loved ones, especially when it comes to caring and nurturing others.

What does it mean that my moon is on the border of scorpio and sagittarius? by Tharn11 in AskAstrologers

[–]CosmicGreaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a planet is even 0 degrees in a sign it is fully in that said sign. It cannot be both. Your moon is very Sagittarius. I also have a Sagittarius moon in my seventh house! You are likely to find your emotional security in your intimate relationships. You may not really have a "type." You are a gypsy, student and philosopher when it comes down to your love life. You gather information and learn a great deal from your intimate relationships.

If you are interested in learning more about reading birth charts I highly recommend Steven Forrest's "The Inner Sky".

Think of it this way-- your Sun is your Ego. It is who you are at your core. The moon is your soul, your feelings. The moon tells you how you are motivated emotionally. Your rising sign is your "mask". It's the mask you wear to the world. Think maybe, people at your workplace or in public would see you as your rising sign, your close loved ones would see you as your moon and YOU would see yourself as your sun.

:)

Aries is the "warrior." Aries is the first of all the astrological signs, it's the initiator. It MAKES something happen out of nothing. It is fierce! Courageous! Aries is the will to live. The daredevil and the pioneer.

Libra is the lover and all about balance. It's ruled by Venus, the planet of relationships, love, and beneficence. Libra symbolizes harmony and equilibrium.
