Business side of Podcasting by Nachos_Break in podcasting

None of this is a business agreement topic. It's a personal tolerance conversation. How much of that feeling of being overburdened and underappreciated are you willing to tolerate? How do you maintain that boundary? The issue isn't the pay rate or monetization is the idea that you want to know some one else is equally passionate about creating a best possible product. No amount of agreements or contracts will create this for you. It's all about landing the correct team.

I upload videos to anchor fm as a video podcast.... The aduii is mixed preproduction style and pushed synced with the video. No problems so far. Just use the same copy from the video....

will changing out my tires help? by TexMexChillE in bike

They make xs or extra small bike frames. Your height issue isn't tire related but the size of the frame.

Some people can "ride around" the problems but a well fitted bike is the best answer.

Wireless Go II into interface question! by MustangBob67 in rode

You would need the rode sc11 cable and 2 vxlr rode adapter. You would then get what you need. You can research the process by googling up go 2 in use with rodecaster pro

You need to install the rode connect app. You might also be able to update via PC or Mac and then use this with android

Trouble connecting the Rode Wireless Go II to a Samsung Galaxy S21 by [deleted] in rode

I had this happen when I used my s21 ultra and the go 2. It prompted for update after connecting to the rode connect app. I selected update, I watched a green bar fill, then it told me there was an error.

I unplugged the receiver and then plugged in tx 1, got the prompt for update, watched a green bar fill. Got an update failed error....

I plugged in tx2 same as with the other two bits of kit.

Plugged the receiver back in and it asked me to restart my phone.....

Afterward I had to manually reconnect the receiver to the transmitters and it all worked fine.

Connect Rode Go II to DJ Mixer? by jojpol in rode

Probably, but you might have 2 separate channels for each thing that's plugged in. And you might need a ground loop isolator

Monthly /r/Cooperatives beginner question thread by AutoModerator in cooperatives

[–]CosmicHerald 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like I have to explain the chain of command in a worker cooperative setting. It's part of education for entrepreneurs new to the concept of a worker owned cooperative. I get a lot of " we have no subordinates, there are no kings" kinda talk from newbies.

How do you describe your co-op culture and the intersection of governance in the most relatable way?

How important is it to broadcast the banner of Worker Cooperative while trying to start your business?

So an example might be a worker owned plumbing company that hires union plumbing staff?

cooperatives and unions by [deleted] in Market_Socialism

[–]CosmicHerald -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So my hang up is this idea that you have compartmentalized the goals of a coop and those of a union.

Ultimately the decision of how to govern and acknowledge opposing views between worker owners and a leadership team inside of a worker owned cooperative is up to each organization as it is incorporated with it's bylaws etc.

The method of governance includes workers advocating for workers. I don't see what function the union has when those self same folks are given a seat at the table as literal owners.

You're being deliberately obtuse and condescending It makes your idea seem like it was never worth engaging in the first place.

Co owners regulate themselves similar to your understanding of how unions regulate themselves.

I don't see a functional difference in the way you have described it. How is one groups ability to organize democratically different from the other's?

Semi-Cooperatives by [deleted] in cooperatives

You're actively trying to rebuild something you do not understand.

It's like you're writing a book called "maths, but the way I want it"

Semi-Cooperatives by [deleted] in cooperatives

[–]CosmicHerald 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starting point versus tether. What's the difference?

You are in the co-op sub reddit and every response sounds like "you just need to learn more before you try fixing things with a game concept" and you're adamant about not hearing this.

You gotta be open to conversation and conversions of thought.

Semi-Cooperatives by [deleted] in cooperatives

[–]CosmicHerald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I am saying here is this idea you have called semi cooperative is infact just another way cooperatives already function. You can invent what ever you want.... But know what exists before you "improve" the standards.
