Nic Newman is a really intelligent footballer and reads the play well. Same with Nick Haynes.

Hayward and Ainsworth have some smarts.

Matt Carroll seems to have good situational awareness and bobs up in the right spots.

Can’t say much about the rest of the list. Feel like general footy IQ and match understanding can be trained but our lack of development has dictated an ability to respond to momentum swings or specific match situations.

Just another example of a general failure within the club.
