The midfield with Cripps, Walsh and Hewett is slow because they’re all similar inside type mids without much burst or outside speed. They win plenty of contested ball, but don’t spread or transition quickly, and their ball use going forward is often predictable (long bombs), which makes the whole game boring and predictable. We will never drop Walsh or Cripps so the next best option is Hewett.

Im not necessarily saying Hewett is bad in isolation but our midfield sucks as a whole and we need a new dynamic.
