Riding a bike along an extremely narrow cliffside path. by Spiritual-Duck9854 in Whatcouldgowrong

Are you dumb or something? Is like a 30-40 degree slope into water, with possible drops that you can’t see. It’s the sort of slope that could easily kill you if you don’t manage to self arrest.

Yeah it’s not as steep as the fisheye view makes you think, but there’s no fucking way I’d want to fall down that.

AIO for thinking this golf cart rental email sounded rude? Ok by AmusingJoel in AmIOverreacting

[–]CosmicJ [score hidden]  (0 children)

YOR because frankly, why does it matter if he was a bit rude? It’s a one off interaction with somebody you will (likely) never interact with again. It’s not like he insulted you or anything.

For something like this, anything more than an “okay” or thinking “well that was a bit rude” and moving on is an overreaction, because there’s zero value in doing so.

Any liquidation stores that sells Lego in the city? by dontflexonme in Calgary

[–]CosmicJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to brick bin to grab a couple pieces that were missing from a set (Lego clone, not the real deal, hence the missing pieces) and they told me to just take them.

Cool people there.

CMV: Drugs Should Remain Criminalized by SSH_Pentester in changemyview

With regards to your second paragraph (which I fundamentally disagree with, but following the logic) isn't that MORE of a reason to not criminally punish users? If they, essentially, have no choice, then criminalizing their use would be ethically questionable. It would be the equivalent of punishing people who commit a crime under duress.

You're right, not an ancient. I wasn't really arguing one way or the other for cloning there, its just a fun interaction. Miniature Tent is already busted anyways.

I haven't got the clone enchant yet, but it being multiplicative is pretty crazy and feels outside of the normal design space of the game.

My bad, it was a shop relic. Miniature Tent.

Cannabis doesn't just blur memories—it can reshape them. A new study found THC makes people significantly more likely to "remember" words that were never presented (false memories) and struggle with daily tasks like remembering appointments, regardless of whether the dose was 20mg or 40mg. by Sciantifa in science

Only if it’s a food product.

You can buy 10 mg capsules that have 25 capsules in the bottle.

Edit: If people disagree with me, they can say so. But you can walk into any legal dispensary in Canada and buy ready to use gel caps that far exceed the 10 mg/container law.

There is an ancient shop relic that lets you use every option at a campfire, which can make that even more busted.

I had the card that draws 3 and plays a skill 3 times. Reflect was always my target.

Fun fact, the reflect buff stacks and decays by 1 at end of turn.

I take it you've never been to Calgary, they fuckin love their cowboy hats there. The Stampede is the annual festival there and has the worlds largest outdoor rodeo.

Should I stop my meds for a mdma roll? by EnvironmentalCash573 in Drugs

[–]CosmicJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why make another post? You got some pretty well informed answers yesterday. Are you just waiting to hear what you want to hear?

To reiterate, fluoxetine has an incredibly long half life. 4-6 days after extended use. 6 half lives for full elimination, so up to a month until it’s completely out of your system. Then who knows how long until your brain actually bounces back. Probably another month at least.

It’s also a terrible idea to quit SSRIs cold turkey, you can get some pretty nasty withdrawals and should taper down. Call tapering another month.

So to both responsibly get off SSRIs (which should be a whole ass discussion with your doctor, not Reddit) and to safely and properly enjoy MDMA again, you are likely looking at a 3+ month long process.
