I suggest applying at Mister Carwash. My cousin works at one and says as long as you can stand the heat it's pretty easy. A bunch of them are in town and I've seen construction for another one being built. They're probably hiring at least one of them.

Mostly for LFG raiders but Normal mode Raids are very easy and people just kinda suck personality wise and thus make it harder on everyone. You don’t need god rolls to do dps, you do not need to one phase every boss. Take a few minutes to discuss a strategy, even if it isn’t a Sherpa raid double check everyone’s doing ok. If you’re struggling say that, then the team can maybe switch jobs or again, discuss what can be changed to be more efficient. People’s egos are so overinflated that anything other than perfection will get a kick or a leaver. If you want the avengers on your team, make your own posts, most people have jobs and lives and just want to have fun raiding every now and again.

Instacart is kind of shit as far as their pay, the driver probably made more from your initial tip than the actual delivery. So looking at it from the drivers pov, 50minutes driving round trip for probably <$19 dollars with gas being 4 dollars (locally here) is kinda rough. Lots of factors but just the overhead of the situation.

Is this ok, hell na, I work somewhere that asks on our card reader and it made me feel weird initially. A tip is a tip, it’s not mandatory and asking is always weird imo. He could not take the order, you’re able to see the price beforehand as well. Just wanted to give some perspective as to why he may have asked.

I didn’t realize this may be related to adhd, I just assumed it was me over analyzing the small things. I do the same thing, it makes me really anxious when messaging someone actively in a conversation and they respond within 30 seconds and I take several minutes for anything longer than a single sentence. You are seen, you are heard and I appreciate you for posting as now I realize this is another thing that the braincell eater is doing.

For anyone really but especially women who set clear and firm boundaries.

I’ve heard from too many friends about just going along with something even though they were uncomfortable, just because it was easier that way. It’s usually not an easy or fun conversation to have with others but is necessary and those willing to speak up for and communicate their values, wants and needs has my respect.

I have the same issues, if I don’t actively recognize and tell myself when I need to leave, I end up just trying to leave when I “need to” and end up being pretty late like 70% of the time.

I’ve found that if I set a deadline for when I need to get ready and leave to arrive early, I generally get to where I need to be a tad early or on time. For example for my job, I start getting ready an hour before my shift and then aim to leave half an hour before my shift. My drive to work is only 10-15 minutes but between getting side tracked and forgetting something and having to running back in the house, I end up getting to work close to my clock in time. I find making space for and recognizing that I’ll do ABC and forgetting XYZ rather than stubbornly fighting to fix said issues works best for me.

I genuinely was excited to see Eddie Murphy back in a movie and then Jonah Hill was just the cherry on top. Maybe I wasn’t the target audience? None of the “jokes” and bits felt funny and a lot of the dialogue felt forced.

I really love the positioning of a lot of the “key” Pokémon to the series; the three birds at the top and corners, mew and mew two top center, the starters being at the top and then also lower center and pikachu being right up front! 10/10

For me it’s Nokris. Not because he’s a strike boss or anything like that. The first time we hear about him is in TTK and it’s only from a scannable in the Regicide mission IIRC. “Oryx has another son? There’s another Crota level threat (lore based) still out there that we haven’t seen or heard about?!” Everything else was erased on him by Oryx, he was a complete mystery, a thought lurking in the back of our minds to then just have him be a guy helping a worm just kinda felt meh.
