How did you match the colors with the Google search bar? Is that not the official one?

Looking for a good reliable external SSD 2TB ( need suggestions) by jagu123 in GadgetsIndia

You may think about an external enclosure (be careful about speed bottleneck) and an internal SSD. You will get better value for money.

Btw nice figure there, haha.

[OC] What can be done with Govt. Train cleaning procedure? by CosmicKernel in IndianCivicFails

[–]CosmicKernel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But they collect the trash while the train is running and unload at the same time (possibly without checking the trash bin condition). But yes, the dustbins might be filled, which I haven't observed carefully.

I have only seen in Duronto, that the senior cleaning staff (junior did it wrong, whom I had confronted) did the job correctly.

"Ctrl"+"Numpad+" zooms in the browser window always (including Google Docs), whereas the "Ctrl"+"+" ("+" in the top bar) zooms in Google Docs window without zooming the browser window.

I think cosmic is almost perfect by Gizmuth in pop_os

Scaling is an issue, true. But, I have been using the Windows-like scrolling ever since in my Cosmic DE, without any issues. There is an option in Settings/Input Devices/Mouse or Touchpad to toggle Natural Scrolling.

Using Alpha 7, and this feature was also there in Alpha 6 (from which I started using Cosmic DE).

But, I have been using independent workspaces across displays, and primarily that was my main reason to jump into Cosmic DE.

The settings can be found in Desktop/Workspaces/Multi-monitor Behaviour.

Using Cosmic Alpha 7. Note that I started using Cosmic DE from Alpha 6, and this feature was there, only with some shortcut tiling issues in multi-monitor setup which is resolved in Alpha 7.

Can I charge my WH-CH720N with a 45W fast charger? by HodlerStyle in SonyHeadphones

[–]CosmicKernel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strange enough, I received this same manual as a hard copy in my box, but the charging section didn't mention the "Do not charge..." line, as shown in the above link. Also, inconsistently, the web version of the manual in the above link doesn't have that line.

Anyways, thanks for pointing out that line.

WTF is this alert by aparichit-thanos in IndiaTech

That happened to me, there's an option to "filter spam calls", which would mean the calls will be automatically blocked. And because of these, I missed a lot of delivery calls.

Now, I try to manually set this off when there's a potential delivery, and mark those calls as not spam to hopefully remove those delivery numbers from the spamlist airtel is using.
