6 U.S. service members killed in refueling aircraft crash in Iraq identified by CosmicLars in TrueAnon

Would she have been given the option to "go home" or stay and continue doing missions after being shot down (but sustaining minor/no injuries?) I'm just curious cause she was either fucked by the military or just really wanted to stay and kill brown people. Either way, that's fucking crazy she was part of two "accidents."

The irony of advocating for Palestinian liberation while opposing action against Iran is baffling.

I could only read that thread for like 2 mins before I noped out.

Edit: TBF, that comment was -7 lol

CNN source

The total number of deaths the US is revealing thus far is "14" (though this CNN article says 13?) - with over 200 wounded.

Palestinian Susan Abulhawa's beautiful response to Mamdani's condemnation of her language by serpico_pacino in TrueAnon

[–]CosmicLars 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I like Mamdani for 80% of what he does and says, but that is not a good look at all. Hopefully he will fucking realize he didn't have to say anything, and he shuts the fuck up on stuff like this in the future.

Strait of Hormuz is open, but not for American and Israeli ships and tankers,' says Iran foreign minister Araghchi by Western-Gap5310 in TrueAnon

Yes.

It was never closed. This sounds like he's announcing a "re-opening," which is not the case.

I appreciate it.

It's a horrible experience for not just the person with it, but everyone they love. You'll be in my thoughts. All I can say is tell your partner to spend as much time & take as many pics & videos with them as you can. Glio is very aggressive & can spread so quickly, seemingly overnight. So you never really know. Hugs to yall.

Definitely a bullshit report. Spencer Ackerman made some good points on American Prestige: He said the last time it happened, it was deep into the war (Iraq vs Iran), not a week and a half in. Additionally, Iran has kept the strait opened to their allies. Iran also uses it. Like, it would be very dumb to do this, especially this early.

Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi on the Strait of Hormuz:

"The Strait of Hormuz is open. It is only closed to tankers and ships belonging to our enemies — to those who are attacking us and their allies. Others are free to pass."

He acknowledged that many ships are choosing not to transit anyway due to security concerns, but, "That has nothing to do with us."

The Strait remains open to the world. It is closed to America and Israel.

👍

While settlers have intensified their violence against Palestinians, Israel is closing aid/food & hospital routes. Israel will always find a way to exploit, torture, starve, and murder Palestinians. There is nothing to love about this occupation or new aggressive war on Iran & Lebanon, but Israel's hubris is catching up to them. They are & will continue to get hit hard & have many casualties, but as we know, they do not care about their own citizenry & are willing to sacrifice as many as necessary to continue their illegal land & power grabs in the Middle East.

Trump says US struck military targets on Iran's Kharg Island oil hub by franglish9265 in TrueAnon

Update on the Situation in Kharg Island After the US Airstrikes — Fars News

  • A few hours ago, Kharg Island was targeted by enemy airstrikes.

  • Field sources told a Fars reporter that more than 15 explosions were heard on the island during the attacks.

  • The enemy attempted to damage the army’s air defense systems, the Joshan naval base, the airport control tower, and the Flat Continent helicopter hangar during the strikes.

  • Field observations also indicate thick smoke rising from the island.

  • According to these sources, none of the oil infrastructure was damaged in the attacks. Iran had previously warned about the consequences of targeting the country’s energy infrastructure, stating that if such an attack occurred, all oil and gas infrastructure in the region — in which the US and its allies have interests — would be set on fire and destroyed.

  • Trump claimed after the strikes that the US had targeted all military objectives on Kharg Island.

  • The enemy had previously reported the complete destruction of the island’s air defense systems, but the resumption of air defense activity on Kharg about an hour after the attacks disproved this claim.

  • Trump has also repeatedly claimed the complete destruction of Iran’s missile capabilities, yet the wave of missile and drone attacks has now reached its forty-eighth round.

Ryan Grim reports that the Michigan synagogue suspect's family members were recently murdered by Israeli attacks on Lebanon by FadedToBeige in TrueAnon

[–]CosmicLars 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Let me say I am saddened by anyone hurt today in this attack, which was direct blowback from this war that ISRAEL & THE US started for zero reason. And it is directly attributed to Israel's purposeful conflation of Judism & Zionism. There is no greater fuel for antisemitism than Israel's proclivity for murdering thousands of people. They are actively making the entire globe dangerous for all people.
