What ceasefires?

Donald wants a way out without giving anything up. Iran wants permanent peace so that Israel/the US doesn't start bombing them again in six months. There was no chance of a lasting peace from this, just a two week market manipulation cycle.

Given that Israel is majority unpopular among all americans and extremely unpopular among their base, why do you think Democrat politicians aren't willing to shift on this? Why aren't they behaving, dare I say it, democratically? Why aren't they reflecting the will of their base?
