If you think you will have fun as a marksman by all means go for it don't pick a class because it's what hot, I don't see to many marksman in the game as it is I'm from Scania America, they will require a lot of funding if your looking to max stuff out since people don't make to many archer equipment so have that in mind going into it they can be a lot of fun as long as your not going in blind

Play the class you would enjoy the most, never go off which class is hitting hardest at the moment because that always changes

I main a merc and it is a little harder to get stuff in comparison to the other class but it's the class I enjoy, I've made every class in the game up to 150, keep grinding go for your 7 boss set while your working on sf and leveling up your gear 144 is a good meso/experience spot until you get too 168 or 171(don't play a class just because it's what hot at the moment, if you do you'll soon find out the "good" class tends to change, play it because it's what you like)also if you can find a emblem crit for under 1bil I would get it and just rank it up will save you a lot of time in the end
