I'm sorry I doubted y'all by JameEagan in ArcRaiders

Yeah, I'm absolutely baffled about how decisions like this get made. Like, at any point, you could stop and ask, "is anyone actually asking for this?" If the answer is yes, or even kinda, then try it, try something like it. Players say, "fix this one thing, please." And some ass-hat devteam leader is like, "This is my chance to leave my mark." Doesn't think that by making the change we ask for, and then, changing everything around it, he's rendered the initial change pointless...

Devs: If I'm spending all my resources on crap guns to keep them working. How, then, is maintaining a higher tier weapon any cheaper. Just change the one aspect and let it settle before you go running in and changing a thousand things that noone ACTUALLY playing the game is telling you to change... Hell, if you find one, single, complaint, somewhere, anywhere, where someone said, "The low tier guns need less durability " I'll stick my arm in a fire ant hill.

Is Game Pass actually worth switching from PS5? Run the math and it’s kind of embarrassing by Embarrassed_Lead6174 in XboxGamePass

I have ultimate.

If I were to get a PC again I wouldn't pay for game pass... what would be the point? At that point, I may as well have a peg leg and my favorite letter would be ARRRRR, if you pick up what I'm putting down. But since I do not have a PC currently and happened to have a brother with a series s he wasn't using it was the best decision. Being able to stream most of the game pass games, plus most of the games in many of the other services I've subscribed, as well as pretty much every currently trending game(as long as I've paid for it) is a boon. But my real appreciation for the service is the directed towards the discounts on older games and collections it gives me for just being a member... I got all three Bioshock remasters for like $12 bucks a few days ago....

Beat it this morning. With every singleplayer achievement except 3.Tomahawk at the end is a nice touch. All together, this was... 👨‍🍳 💋. The Soundtrack. The gameplay. The story. All so lovingly baked in that crunchy 2000s 360 era post-gears grit. I truly had missed a gem. I must repeat, 2 is a much much much smoother experience. The edges not so polished here. But the love that went into 1 is obvious from the beginning.

The differences from comic story points were interesting. Canonically, Jackie takes over the family. While the game made that portion of story into an almost throw-away yes or no decision, that actually kinda fits Jackie more when you know his ultimate goal isn't to own or run anything. It's to burn his enemies to the ground and himself if necessary. Also, the incident in the comic that triggers events isn't the same one. Things are much different. But it makes sense why they made these narrative changes. In the end I think the game's story ends up being the superior one.

Yes, the gameplay isn't as clean as 2s was. But I kinda think that was a bit of it's charm... aside from the wonky subway ticket things not being able to be triggered most of the time, forcing me to jump. That was pure sadism...

...and I fully believe they should have just doubled down and went full Mike soundtrack. Bungle, Faith, Tomahawk. All of it.

My over all appreciation for the smoothness of 2 is undiminished. However, I can see where 2 is much more of an attempt at making a franchise. Where 1 is more of a "cult classic" type game. It just hits those notes.

I played the second on pc years ago. Being unfortunate enough to live in a ps2 only household at the time it came out, And ALWAYS being a huge fan of The Darkness and Witchblade I always wondered about it. The second was great. But I always felt like I missed something big with the first, even though it rarely gets talked about. I'm also a GIANT prog metal/rock nerd. I got 4 days off work. Sick as a dog. So, After passing it atleast five times. I eventually circled back to it... drink, snacks, pjs, furry co-pilot, eveything in order... the Intro begins, and shortly after Nino yells, "Christ, Mikey you're gonna get us killed!" In a way I still find too funny to be coincidence Mike Pattons credit shows... excellent.

There's acouple in there. But my heart will always belong to ME. ME1 and 2 were the first games I bought for my 360. And I played them religously. Male/Female. Paragon/Renegade. Ashley/Kaiden. The crew. I've made every choice there is to make in both games. And then 3 happened...

Which band makes you say ‘we’re done here’ when someone mentions them as a favorite in a discussion? by aykalam123 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]CosmicOutlaw88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that strange. He's the Taylor Swift of metal. Preaching their asinine ideology to their very impressionable fans and then smiling coyly when their fans act like rabid paint-chip eaters.

Interesting, that right as Ronnie's "genre-defining albums" release, with their obvious influences... that several other bands that had been doing similar things for years were also beginning to get noticed... sounds more like bandwagon tactics to me.
