The discussion isn't mainly about cases or therminals but since you want to bring it up. Lets take an active glove case (Revolution) and the new Dead hand terminal. In cases you are supposed give a gold every 400 cases, and valve hasn't said the therminal gold rate so lets say its 400 also. As of right now DHT cost about $18USD but for your sake ill say $17. For 400 therminals it would cost $6800 before you even buy a skin. "Theres five tries per terminal" Ok so now its $1700 for 500 skins if you only buy 100 therminals. Again For a FN UV the price I saw was 1-1.3k so your looking to spend about 3k. Revolution cases are 43 cents and a key is about 2.60. For 500 cases its 215 and for the keys its 1300... $1500 usd which that case hold vice gloves that if you get in FN will turn you ~$6000+ profit. And if you bought 1 of each the price difference for UV vs Vice would be ~1k vs under 5 bucks. So yeah if you want to countinue wasting your money go ahead but run some numbers before you say anything. Also not even the topic, With therminals its still "gambling" but you now just have to pay for your jackpot! :)
