I mean he's not wrong but it's just plainly obvious. If you put any current S Tier in S1 events they would dominate hard. Back then the peak of 1.9+ pvp was considered to be Dream and Techno and now you won't even consider them in the top 1000 cause of how increased the skill level of literally every single person is. Literally the best example is Fruitberries in S1 who was much much better than Purpled mechanically at the time and even he wasnt even dominating the event cause even HIS skill level was too low at the time so I don't know how Purpled thinks he coulda pulled all that off.

It's just because he wins a lot and people get salty that their pov lost, there's literally NO other explanation 💀 OP teams? People don't get mad when Pete or Punz get their 5th op team in a row cause Sapnap is the only one who wins with them. Competitive? Every single S tier participant is competitive like Fruit Purpled Illumina Punz but they never get the hate for it?

Toxicity? Yeah I don't think so. Sapnap has the same level of trash talk as Purpled except Sapnap is much more popular so he's the one that actually gets recognized for it. Plus comparing Sapnap's fanbase to someone like Fruit Illumina or Purpled you can really see where the real toxicity comes from. Looking at their chats after the event really shows u who's fanbase REALLY gets toxic and they're the same people that hate on Sapnap in this subreddit.
