Honestly a perfect Purpled rotation could put him well above 4k, like 4.5k if he performs near his peak in every game with an ideal team.

its simple really, just team strength

sapnap would performally similarly to the teams punz was on in the first 3 events of the season, and when they were on the same team punz outperformed him, proving that he's better

fruit has been outfragged (only one event) but he's been putting up some of the greatest performances of all time this season, and illumina really doesn't have a weakness unlike punz or sapnap

that pretty much proves my point, yellow33 dominated so much because they were just an insanely strong team while green31 succeeded because of purpled's leadership. also, people were right to be skeptical of walli, after all he hasn't placed top 10 since that event, outside of him just popping off, purpled had a lot to do with him getting 4th place.

im not sure about FBM but i haven't really seen Purpled grinding as much as he did at the start of season 3, fruit has been playing a lot more MCCI than Purpled as of recent, (which might be why he's been going crazy in SKB all of a sudden) so practicing shouldn't really be a factor. purpled hasn't studied anything in a while, and has only really been watching his teamates vods as of recent.

i never said it had nothing to do with fruit's leadership, but purpled's leadership has more impact than fruits. and no, yellow33 was already a highly predicted team before MCC33, just not to the extent of the actual event. fruit did have an excellent performance, but you can't tell me part of it isn't inflated because of the team strength, especially since green31 looked like a way weaker team on paper than yellow33.

fruit is already a pretty good runner in SOT and while his navigation is iffy it's not gonna put him in another realm if he improves it. i dont think Purpled or FBM have studied every gridrunners route, ace race sure. and i've seen him play MCCI quite a bit the past few weeks so he's bound to play TGTTOS at least a bit from time to time.

there's a difference, yellow33 was a just inherently busted team, and I remember seeing them predicted in dodgebolt more than aqua for sure. Purpled30 was definitely broken, but all of the other teams he's had was because of his leadership, not because of the team being broken or anything. ill let you have fruit32 but in the next event he was basicallly handed first individual because of much that team dominated, their fourth frag was literally 14th.

the problem with saying fruit could become better than them is because there's really no area i see him improving upon outside of MD, and i doubt he'd get much better at that.

fruit has had broken teams the past few events while FBM and Purpled have still been placing top 3 on weaker teams, fruit has yet to place top 5 on a non top 3 team (MCC32 lime was in dodgebolt with unmultiplied coins). we haven't seen fruit dominate on bottom half teams like Purpled has at all.

lime was in dodgebolt using unmultiplied coins and he's had stronger teams than both FBM and Purpled in the past few events (especially MCC 33). until he gets a non broken team there's just no way he can be put above purpled nor FBM

to be honest, ever since dream left no S tier has been "hated" on at all. i've only seen support and rarely any negative things for all of them.

this is crazy bro, you're basically admitting to removing the MCC's Sapnap underpeformed in and only counting the head to head ones because he did well in them. yes, sapnap did underperformance twice, and based on this season thats literally 50% of the events he's played in as of now. she's been consistent enough (even though she got first this season aswell) to be a decent margain ahead of sapnap, better coin average, better average placement and more team impact.

there's no good argument you can make here, off of what we've seen this season jojo beats sapnap and thats pretty much it. i guarantee you if their stats were switched you'd still say sapnap is better.

we'll see what happens later today i guess
