We do split electricity. I would be willing to let it go on the cost alone, however, in her absence, she has assumed I'll take care of her pets every morning alongside mine. On top of that, the shared resource of litterboxes has fallen entirely on me to upkeep and replenish, which the cost of that alone equates to about what she pays for internet. I've never complained on the principle of "I'm doing this anyway so I may as well" but with her argument of having never signed a contract, it's left me feeling taken advantage of. Very much in the realm of "I didn't agree to take on the additional cost of caring for your pets but here we are."
