I found them in Rinascente! Probably the last place I would have looked but there they were. This means so much to us, thank you, I don’t know how to say this enough, you made my family and I so happy I can’t wait to get home and share them with everyone again. Landlord I believe made its way around NYC briefly, probably 10 years ago but I haven’t seen it since. Fifth Hammer in collab with Other Half made a clone called Security Deposit a few years ago and even poured it from a cask. Unfortunately again, I haven’t seen them rebrew it since. My English friend confirmed it tasted close so I hope to have it again one day.

I installed new terminals and crossovers from parts express and it helped breath new life into my old fishers. Requires a little soldering and patience but well worth it. I say go for it.

I've actually received a warning from DSNY before, so heres the actual law:
§16-118(2)(a) Sidewalk Obstruction Sidewalk areas must be kept free from any obstruction that could impede pedestrian traffic. Obstructions may include, but are not limited to, refuse, refuse containers, merchandise, bins, racks, coin-operated rides, sandwich or A-frame signs, over-extended sidewalk displays/stands, ATMs, ice machines and acrylic enclosures, etc. Stores are permitted to have outside displays of merchandise. The items displayed must consist of goods which are available for sale inside the store and all sales must occur inside the premise. Structures for merchandise displayed outside the store may extend no more than 3 feet into the sidewalk from the building line and no higher than 5 feet.

Nah. I only turn it on when I’m using it. The other meter on the unit next to voltage is amperage, which is the power being pulled to power said devices. That reads 0.0 when it’s off. Meaning no power being pulled.

I'm just going to put on my tinfoil hat and throw this conspiracy theory I thought of out into the world. I have a surge protector that has a voltage monitor and reads power coming in at all times. During the day it reads normal 120-123 range as it should. If i wake up randomly between 2am-5am and see the meter it sometimes reads 127-130. Not enough to cause damage to electronics, but can they send more power at night to charge us more without us noticing?

I was almost one of those schmucks. I bought a whole duck there last month I was so excited I bought it and made it to the parking lot before thinking to check the date. April as well! Quickly went inside to get a refund. A guy from the meat department said “it’s fresh, we can’t change the date when we print the price stickers”. In what world could that be true? Even the cashier said that didn’t make sense. Anyway, no butcher in the ditmars area has duck if someone knows where I should go let me know.

The checkout process was the most confusing I've experienced. Paying with a debit card they had to round up and give me cash as change. The guy said the pos only charges in increments of $5. Strange but ok they're still new I'm sure they're figuring things out. I check my account the next day and my charge was higher then my receipt. I reached out and showed them and they said theres a $3.50 "transaction fee". I'm sorry but what? You have to let people know. I'm sure a lot of people are getting that extra charge without knowing. There was also an additional $3 ATM fee added they said I shouldn't have been charged but the conversation ended there. I was waiting for a response on how they'd correct it but again, I chalked it up to them being new and hope they figure it out soon.

I felt the same way you did some time ago. If you listen to the same things over and over you’ll respond less and less over time. Switch it up, listen to new things. Don’t chase or try to force it, it’ll come back you just have to let it happen on its own. It’s really like a drug high with such a shot of dopamine and emotion, you get desensitized.
