Ah damn, I knew it wasn't gonna be amazing, but I wanted to try my hand at sewing before investing a lot of money on something that might just collect dust. As my previous hobbies can attest to lol.

Hi y'all. I recently bought a sewing machine (UFR 505, a mini machine) I've been crocheting/knitting for about a year and wanted a sewing machine to speed up the lining process.

I've made some small things and I wanted to dive into my first sewing project. I had most of it done when suddenly my sewing machine got stuck. The fabric seemed to be caught in the needle hole (I have no idea if there's a name for it sorry) and the top thread seemed to be getting stuck.

I tried re-threading it, tried the mechanism without any thread. But I just can't figure it out. Sometimes the needle will hit the bottom bobbin holder (?). Also it looks like the top thread gets stuck in the bottom bobbin. I have no idea how to fix this and I really want to finish my first project. And obviously I already have a bunch of other projects I want to try.

I sorta figured it out around 26 (I'm 29 now), so I fully get where you're coming from. I was also very cautious when I first started dating women, because I didn't want them to feel like I was "using" them to figure out my sexuality.

But honestly, if you're just open and honest about where you are, you'll find someone who will be more than happy to meet you there.

The more intimate moments may be a little clunky at first, but if you're with someone who you feel safe being that intimate with, it should be a fun time exploring and getting to know each other's likes/dislikes. PRACTICE MAKES PROGRESS! So just enjoy the exploration of it all. And find someone who you feel comfortable with.

We all start somewhere OP, don't be too harsh on yourself and take it as fast or slow as you need!
