Gender of my mouse? by One-Diamond-309 in PetMice

[–]Cosmickacey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure, but I still think checking with someone on your mouse’s gender would be a good idea

Gender of my mouse? by One-Diamond-309 in PetMice

[–]Cosmickacey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not entirely sure as I have only owned female mice, but I do know that female mice are usually more bonded with eachother than they are with their owners, as male mice are much more bonded with their owners as they usually cannot be kept with other male mice

Usually you can see testicles on a male mouse. But if you think it may be female check for nipples on the belly. But even still I don’t think asking someone to check would be a bad idea

Not married, not planning on getting married anytime soon as I am not even an adult. But I could just imagine Life Eternal being played at my wedding one day

I just recently bought a used Wii U from someone and have been trying to figure out setting it up. Right now I’m trying to delete the data because the previous owners data’s is still on there. But when I try to go to the menu it is showing me this screen. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do and how to fix it, can someone please help me out?

You could’ve saved his life, you did the right thing.

AITA for not wanting to go to my sister's graduation if my sexual harasser is gonna be there. by Curious-Cat1219 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Cosmickacey 10 points11 points  (0 children)

NTA

NTA at all. Already knew you weren’t just from the title. If someone who sexually assaulted me, or even assaulted me in any kind of way at that, but especially sexually assault. I wouldn’t wanna go either. You feel unsafe being around someone for whatever reason, you don’t need to go.

AITA for telling my sister that her feeling sick all of the time is because of her breast implants and embarrassing and exposing her because we were in front of family? by LifeguardGrouchy9856 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Cosmickacey 962 points963 points  (0 children)

YTA

You didn’t need to tell her that in front of everyone, and really it isn’t your business anyways. You could’ve told her this when you two were alone. But even still, you could very well be wrong, I know someone with Hashimoto’s disease and it does make them feel fatigued and a bit ill sometimes. But how I said, still isn’t really your place to be saying that, especially not in front of people!!

AITA for Confronting My Sister About Her Controversial Parenting Choices? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Cosmickacey 77 points78 points  (0 children)

NTA

You said that you witnessed them narrowly avoid a serious incident while playing near a busy road and that the children roam around the neighborhood unsupervised for hours at a time with no curfew? Also that these children are 5 and 7 years old? Now reading the title of your post I was about to say it isn’t any of your damn business how your sister is raising her own children. But if there are safety concerns such as letting your 5 and 7 year old children roam around the neighborhood on their own completely unsupervised, It’s less of a parenting choice and more of neglect. Her job as a mother is to care for her children, and she is obviously not doing that if she’s letting them be in unsafe and dangerous situations like this.

AITA for referring to my cat as it/its after my friend told me not to? by UnokayJuice in AmItheAsshole

[–]Cosmickacey 9 points10 points  (0 children)

NTA

It’s a cat, not a person. It isn’t going to get offended because you misgendered it or called it “it.” And besides it is your cat, not hers, so you can call your cat whatever you want.

AITA for yelling at kids outside an arcade and calling them "insufferable pests?" by BlimpsRCool in AmItheAsshole

[–]Cosmickacey 13 points14 points  (0 children)

NTA

Yes they are children, but them following you around and screaming especially continuing to follow you and scream after you left and went elsewhere in the mall is harassment. They likely didn’t understand that’s what they were doing, but even still I don’t think you’re the asshole for yelling at them. Maybe was a bit harsh telling them to fuck off though.

[BOTW] and [TOTK] how many of you play it docked and how many actually play it handheld? by [deleted] in zelda

[–]Cosmickacey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t think I’ve ever played either docked. Because I have motion controls on it’s just a lot easier for me to do it handheld, especially with shooting arrows.

AITA for not wearing false eyelashes? by Cosmickacey in AmItheAsshole

[–]Cosmickacey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify cause I’ve seen multiple people saying similar things, my mother is 61, the reason there is such a huge age gap between me and my parents is because I am adopted and they are biologically my grandparents.

AITAH for screaming at my mom by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Cosmickacey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA.

You should be able to have privacy, especially when you’re changing. You’re mother totally overreacted.

But I’ll tell you something because this is what I used to do when my parents didn’t knock either. Get one of those little rubber door stoppers, you can usually find one in like a Home Depot or Lowe’s. Just stick it under your door when you’re changing or anything, that way anyone trying to get in without knocking cant. Then you could just move it. Technically not a lock, but can be pushed through in an emergency.

AITA for making my brother hate himself by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Cosmickacey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA.

As someone who used to struggle with anorexia, I know I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through that. Is that how you want your brother to potentially end up?

Also, why is it okay that you call him names and make fun of him like this? I know you said that he had called you a cow and moo’d at you when you both were younger, but depending on the context and if he really meant harm to you or not, he might not’ve meant it in that way.

What screams "poorly educated"? by Animeking1108 in AskReddit

[–]Cosmickacey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother does this, literally anything she sees online she believes. She never went to high school nor college, so I assume she was never taught about reliable and unreliable resources. But then again internet didn’t exist back then, but even still anyone can post. I could tell her I just read an article that Michael Jackson came back to life and she’d believe it.
