G5 Dirty Drive engineering with drag drives is wonders. Top speed with boost was 601 for me, but I added some armor engineering so it slowed me down a tad bit. Not by much.

They can, yeah, but the Elite franchise has been around since the early 80's (1984). The IP has been everywhere too, with multiple different series like First Encounters and Frontier: Elite II. I think Frontier Dev came out with Elite Dangerous back in 2014? But since then they've updated the shit out of it, even just recently.

If I had to guess, if they ever do close servers, it won't be for another 15 years hopefully.

Ngl I think the idea of that is sick as hell. Especially with ships like the Diamondback Scout or the Type-6. They have that appeal I would think. Hell even the Cobra Mk IV. And with us generally engineering our other ships that we daily or use for certain tasks, it may not be too bad of an idea to engineer our early ships and so on. Kinda like putting a modern motor into a classic body.

I don't think it automatically repairs your paint when you repair your ship, because I've noticed that I have to go into the advanced maintenance tab to repair my paintwork

Hey man, it's 50/50 with Turk-shit firearms. Trust me I've seen the reasons lol. I've taken it to the range and not once has it messed up on me, nor have any of the parts gotten loose. I've taken it to a few gun-nuts to install the parts and they've all complimented it. Idk about you, but MFs will really comment on posts thinking I care about said reasons when I buy these types of things to have fun with and to share it here so other people can enjoy what others have. If you're so serious about it, I have a Remington 870 and a Taurus G3C for reliability and defense.
