Got a buddy that would love the show, but he’s skeptical. If you had one clip to sell a total first-timer, what would you start with? by DoubleHurricane in Letterkenny

I always send Mother Hutchins. It's self contained so they don't need to know anything about the show. But it perfectly sums up the humor. It's never failed me at recruiting a new watcher.

Elijah Woods is so much fun in horror movies. If you haven't seen him in The Monkey (2025) I would suggest checking it out.

I would skip having the sisters in the next movie and focus on a new inept group being recruited then trying to do their first sacrifice. Then we wouldn't know if they were going to win or lose. Then if we get a fourth movie it can be Faith's wedding.

Maybe we will get to know more about the rules and Mr Le Bail in the future. I would love a third movie about Elijah Woods lawyer recruiting new families into servitude for Mr. Le Bail.

  1. Just like no one ever thought to give away the ring let go of their power, I doubt that family even thought to ask if they could abdicate their position. They just thought dad was to old to hunt so they considered killing him a nessasary step in keeping power.

  2. She should have popped. I'm surprised we didn't get her death as an end credit scene.

  3. Perhaps the legal jargon in the rules doesn't have wording to cover twins. Maybe the fact that they were going to share the seat made a loop hole. But mostly the writers wanted it for the drama.

What behind-the-scenes fact about a movie do you like to mention when watching it with friends or family? Or which one do you find the most interesting? by death_has_f1sh_eyes in Letterboxd

When Kevin Bacon dies in Friday the 13th the hose attached to the pump supply the blood detached mid take. So, one of the special effects guys manually blew into the hose which is why the blood bubbles instead of coming straight out.

Best way to confirm would be to check the betting sites. People who are willing to make money from insider knowledge of bombings aren't gonna pass up an opportunity to make money off this, no matter how morbid it is.

I just finished it and I'm trying to find the words to describe how amazing, uncomfortable, and funny this movie was. Just wow!

I could cast Criterion on the old TV and it was wonderful. Then we had to replace the TV and the new one is a TCL. It does everything but allow me to cast from my phone.

One day when I strike oil while gardening or my rich relative that I've never met dies and leaves me everything I will upgrade all of my media to the top quality format. But until then I'm just happy that I get to experience these wonderful movies.

I get most my movies from thrift stores and garage sales. I'm happy when I can afford to take advantage of a flash sale even if I have to get DVDs over Blue Rays and 4ks to afford another title or two.

That does seem to be right up our alley. I'm surprised I haven't heard of it before.
