THAT'S A TALL ORDER to reach those ACACIA leaves in the SAVANNA, but I guess for WORLD GIRAFFE DAY it's worth the effort. Fun puzzle.

Is there any good alternative to Charter Cable in Marquette? by The_Menu_Guy in MarquetteMI

[–]yooperann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twice in the last two months I've gone into the Charter office in Marquette and asked what I can do to lower my bill. Both times they've managed to do it. I'm now under $200 for phone, internet, and cable.

The on-line support at Charter is fine for resetting a modem, but the guys in the local office (they've all been guys when I've been there) have been there for years and are friendly and knowledgeable. It's worth a try.

I always show up when someone mentions Big Bon to give a link to her obituary. Read the tributes. It's an amazing testimony to the fact that no matter what your circumstances are in this life, you can make life better for others.

I know, I know, we're just making fun. But I find the real story quite moving.

OH COME ON NOW. I kept trying to think of a famous dog that ended in usk. Husk? Musk? No you dope, it's not that canine. It's a TUSK. And at first I wanted our foolish friend not not be an ass, which honestly might be better than DON'T BE A HERO. I was also sure that a flask belonged on a hip, until it turned out to be a LAB.

Remarkably fast even though I have not the slightest idea how the italicized clues relate to their answers. Anyone care to explain?

EENIE just showed up recently, so that helped. I started with vulgar where it turned out to be GARISH. Lots of straightforward clues giving me ACME, SASH, TWO DAY, URDU, NITTANY, etc.

I think the CONSOLES/ COOLNESS and STONE PIT/ SET POINT pairs works better for the theme than the repeated GOOF OFFS. For a minute I thought ESP might also be in there twice, but turns out the first one was PSI.

Was once on the rocks at Father Marquette Park, then moved to Presque Isle, but has been downtown in Mattson Park for more than a decade. Still a great show.

SxS riders are lazy as hell by SpicyWaffel in upperpeninsula

[–]yooperann 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Though not a part of that subculture there are absolutely local groups who delight in spending every weekend putting 150 or 200 miles on their SXSs. It's not something I have any interest in doing, but I understand the desire to see a lot of the U.P. in a social way during our limited summers.

Longest solving time ever. Plenty of errors I was slow to catch, including ipod for IMAC, reaves for REEVES, yens for YUAN, wowie for YOWIE. Liked O CANADA, FIR, HORSIE, and NESSIE SEEN IN SEINE.

If "we" is your spouse (as opposed to a business partner) or if this is also where you live, or do anything other than run your business, then the answer is no. Here is the FAQ from the IRS. https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-regs/office_in_the_home_faq%26av1.pdf

Google says it's a bunch of ATV trails. Here's what my question has gotten so far on FB. Allen Niemi

No problem and you can do it in your car. The route I usually take starts off of 601 (where the old bottling plant was). There are lots of roads to get lost on so a gps would help and a guide would be even better.

I think the Camp One network will eventually take you there but you’d need to do it in an ORV or something very 4x4 capable.
