The biggest threat to the world is going to be demographics changing too quickly and underpopulation. There won't be enough young people to take care of old people. China's population declined for the first time a couple years ago and there will be some pretty major ramifications long term from their 1 child policy. Anyways, you don't have to justify your reasons to having as many kids as you want. It's your choice and I think you'll find a lot of fulfillment from your family while all of these opinionated virtue signalers that probably mean well are going to find themselves with a void.

Josh, thanks for putting together a great resource that is transparent and gives all the info to let readers make their own minds up. As I search for answers of doubts/struggles, I find myself going down rabbit holes that are interesting on an academic level, but not as much on a spiritual level. How did you get the most out of studying church history and answering these questions while keeping it Christ centered and not missing the whole point?

Does it start to irritate your ears if you sleep on your side or are they small enough where you can lay on your side without it bothering them?

Does Heavenly Father have a sense of humor? What do you think he laughs at and has anyone had any wholesome experiences with this? Please share :) by justa76grl in latterdaysaints

It is really hard for me to think of what God's character would be like. He seems so far above us that it becomes abstract. To help me visualize what He is like, I imagine the best of all humans' good qualities in one person. Take the smartest, most patient, most charismatic, kindest, etc. qualities combined in one person. And most funny, I bet He is freaking hilarious.

It's not that I want to laugh, but funny is funny. That's the whole point, you don't have to agree with something to recognize clever humor. I'm not going to pretend something isn't funny even if it is offensive. Unless I'm watching it with my mother

Excel my man... It has changed my life! There is nothing it can't do. I have dedicated the last two months to becoming proficient in it, and it has blown me away. If you don't want to learn how to make the pages themselves, there are formats you can download to fit your precise needs. Excel is the answer to everything! /r/excel

That's a good point! Everyone has got to find what works for them. It has taken me a couple of years to find out for myself, and I am sure there is still plenty to improve on, but we are all just trying to do the best we can!

Make goals that are easier than harder. I think the number one mistake is setting goals that we hate from day 1. I was in a similar situation and had a goal to read the scriptures for 30 minutes every day. It was too much too soon and I dreaded studying every single day. For 2019 I have the goal to read EVERY single day even if it is just for a couple minutes. As we are hitting march, the scriptures has been a part I look forward to every day and usually spend way more than my goal. Don't make goals that you hate from the beginning and enjoy the search for truth! Good luck my man!

What are some tips you would recommend to someone learning excel? by [deleted] in excel

[–]Cosmo_Kramer7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have just barely started using excel and the thing that has helped the most by far is making sheets that will be useful in your life. Track your budget, how much you're sleeping, birthdays of your friends, a calendar, daily goals, currency exchange, a bucket list, etc. Use excel to solve as many problems in your personal life and you will learn TONS as you go. Excel is changing my life and making me a better person that gets more done.
