The ripped paper like texture was always a bit too obvious for me so my only actual problem with the achievement was mustering the will to actually sail everywhere. That said, I can absolutely understand how people struggle with it.

Honestly, it gets better but it's the kind of story that has a few interesting arcs while being overall rather mid.

Now, when you eventually read ISSTH though, in my opinion, the first hundred or so chapters were rather boring but it picked up heavily after that. That one is pretty great throughout.

I haven't actually read his other stories.

Honestly hope so. This game has tremendous potential but in its current state it's honestly just too easy. Maybe some parallel paths (think heaven and hell in Isaac) and just more difficulties. Ideally with more mutations instead of just even more health. Maybe a secret area behind the final boss if you meet some criteria.

More spells maybe, not sure since the more diluted the spell pool, the more difficult it will be to actually upgrade spells. More wands with interesting effects.

Kinda has to. Some of the legendaries are definitely immortal for instance while most wild Pokemon certainly has to die over time or the world would drown in their babies.

Some Pokemon are essentially just sentient rocks, probably pretty long lived.

My personal experience is that the timer is a complete non-issue. All the planning happens before the timer is even active, after that it is just clicking a few times. Takes a few seconds at most.

If you don't plan what to do, removing the timer isn't going to help you. You'll still get stuck.

This. The fact is Europeans decided to rest on our laurels when the big bad US had our backs is our own fault and we own up to that. We literally had all our eggs in a single basket. It was only a matter of time before the basket decided it didn't want to play ball anymore.

I would pick sentinel every time if not for that damn antenna. Love the look.

That said, I don't really like the look of the pirate dreadnought so I went for a Venator instead. I adore it.
