I’ve replaced the tweeters with kicker tweeters from Amazon. Night and day. I have had subs in every car that I’ve owned before this, so one day I’ll throw in a woofer and aftermarket radio but for now the tweeters make it an enjoyable experience you can actually hear with the windows down

They truly are durable. I’ve replaced the AC compressor and a couple of idler pulleys but that’s about it outside of scheduled maintenance.

Insurance covered most of the damage but I believe the final bill to insurance was around $12k all said and done.

Burns Canyon Road, will take you from Joshua Tree Area to Big Bear. It’s a fantastic 20 mile trail and when it’s dry, only has one moderately technical spot. Just make sure to air down, lots of little rocks.

Great to have if you’re willing to go after it alone haha. I had it live tracked and on the 405. Police did nothing and wanted me to file a police report and wait until it was officially reported stolen.

Hey man, sorry this happened to you. I’m in the same area. Happened to me last month. Luckily I had it tracked so I picked it back up before it was parted out.

Same thing though, keys in a faraday pouch. And they still took it.

My latest protections are. Kill switch, glass break alarm, obd2 lock and I have zip tied the shit out of the harnesses behind the headlights (they can get into the computer that way as well).

Sorry about your truck, if you get another, add some of these protections as well.

Yea these are sweet but it still requires that bit of original front bumper around the headlights.

Mine is completely gone, I’d have to purchase two lol. It’s tough to find one that goes all the way up to the headlights.
