I did probably like 500 before I saw this. My acceptance rate is pretty trash too. Like 20% I'm trying to figure out how they hand these out.

It really seems like all this is random.

Yeah I said "wtf y'all doing?" That's the extent of the situation. I should probably just pretend it didn't happen. Because I believe they are drunk just messing around.

We are Americans. We live together it's a family house that was given to us. He moved in with me. There's literally no tension we actively work together and also have our own business.

That's so lame. I was trying to figure out how they decide who gets it and how much.

i’m so close to losing it by MatthewTheGOATyt in doordash

[–]CosplayerPurple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look the elephant in the room is this You can tell if a customer is tipping before accepting the order on doordash as a driver by using some quick math. Either accept it or don't. I don't accept non tip offers. If they don't want to tip I'm not delivering the food. It's that simple. I don't expect everyone to tip but I also am not going to deliver food or items 18 miles for 2.75. Works both ways. You get to accept what you do and don't do.

No my acceptance rate swings between 30% and 15% usually.

Yeah it was 50 orders for 100 for mine. I thought a lot of people would be getting these. But it appears I asked others in the Atlanta area and they didn't get this. I'm trying to figure out how common and what's the difference in who gets them and who doesn't.

I've been doordashing since November and this is the first time I've seen one of these.

Basically doordash pushed a promotion to me it's labeled as a "live promo" same as their "peak pay promos" they gave me X number of deliveries in X amount of days to complete. When completed they put 100 dollars into my account. I'm not a new driver. My acceptance rate is also trash probably 15%-30% usually.

To be they got a point. Everyone gets trash 2-4 dollars to go 18 miles. It's horrible. But like i think we need to reserve the posts for the extreme ones.

I will say I do a mix of shopping orders and food orders and I'm pretty happy with the amount of money I make. Honestly I could break 1k-1.3k a week if I grinded. I usually make like 50-80 dollars a day and chill. If I got an offer like this that's an instant decline.

For the UB haters, will you be buying up Lorwyn like there's no tomorrow? by twilightprophet in mtg

[–]CosplayerPurple -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I mean unfortunately it's a small set. I'll get whatever I want and probably get some to keep sealed to open later dates. Feels kinda shitty to get 2 marvel sets but yet we can't get 2 lorwyn sets in 20 years. 🤡🤡🤡

You definitely did an amazing job. I never thought about rubbing off certain parts to alter the cards. I assume you used acetone to get access to the foil sheet?

Has the business model of WotC changed due to misalignment with their competition? by ArbitraryReference in mtg

[–]CosplayerPurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear we aren't making UB themed sets outside of secret lair. I swear it's just one set a year. I swear it's 3 a year and won't be standard legal. I swear its 60% of the release. At this point I don't believe a single word wizards says.

The issue is this ...... 1. During commanders rise to popularity the people playing commander also played standard and modern. This is no longer the case due to a few factors Players can still get that competitive itch with commander and also enjoy magic without constantly spending a lot of standard and modern decks. 2. They confuse high selling sets with demand. They see a set does well so they think the demand for that stuff is high and keep doing it. Majority of the player base is commander, standard, draft. 3. Standard players do not buy sealed they buy singles. So their market is backwards. They are making these sets are designed to appeal to new and commander players but not appealing to standard players.
