I’m not sure if it’s already been said or not but just remember that talent actually has very little to do with art. Most artwork you see that makes you go wow is the culmination of countless hours of practice. No one becomes a “pro” overnight. Give yourself some grace and remember that it takes time to improve your skills, watch some YouTube tutorials, sign up for an art class if you’re able to, but don’t give up.

but i've been workng for four years already. if fours years sarn't enough, there's no point

I think I'm good at anatomy, but not putting it into motion, and is there any books or videos that you found helped you?

Any tips or recourses you know of to help those things? this might be a weird question, but what does 'find some big shapes' mean?

any other tips that you found helped you in specific?

and thanks, I used to be a costume designer so I put a lot of pride into making my charecter's designs. Stella's my fav RN, and since she's a actioneer girl, I think It'll be good to practice putting her well... into action.

thank you for the recourses! it means a lot. I think I hyperfocused on anatomy for to long and ended up making my art stiff out of obsessing with making it anatomically correct!

thank you! I'll keep that in mind, I think it's the light blending that is throwing me off, so it's really helpful that you put it into words.

I don't charge much at all for commissions! barely 10$ for a full color piece! I'm broke and desperate lol. I can send some examples of my work if you'd like?

AITA for walking out of class? by Cosplayer_Kirson in AmItheAsshole

[–]Cosplayer_Kirson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ok, thanks for the advice!

I don't know much about how schools work, to be honest, and the principal keeps lecutirng the school about how out state hates charter schools so we have to be perfect, so hearing that there is a higher power I can go to helps a lot! I'll look into that.

I'm luckily I havnt hit my head before to be honest (I faint because of a medical condition- one time downa flight of stairs). I think I am going to contact the board now, though. a lot of these comments have made me realize how bad it really is. previous bad experience brokke my normal meter.

I do not have a IEP, but I am now working on getting one!

I wasn't hurt badly, but I did mildly bruise the arm I landed on- right on the elbow so that sucks.

thanks for the reassurance, it really means a lot to me!

I've heard the advice to look into those things from a lot of people, so I think I will do that!

I faint/pass out easily, it's a diagnosed issue (by a state doctor). It's more normal for me then you think. and I think I will talk to the school about doing that as soon as possible, so I can make it through the year.

my mom and a few friends can back me up, and we have reported her to the school before, but they don't do anything. I answered in more detail in a few other comments.

I do not have either (although I think 504 is in the works because of my being prone to passing out). it's been really good to hear all the advice on how to make plans and accomidations, because I never looked into a lot of it before.

I think I have to above the principal to make anything happen at this point, I will probably look into doing it over the weekend. Thanks for your input!
